My fellow Americans…Binaca is proud to announce the re-launch of Binaca Breath Drops! The people have spoken and Binaca has once again started producing the popular peppermint drops in a 3-pack configuration available everywhere Binaca products are sold. To promote this historic re-launch, Binaca wants to create some viral videos of a completely new flavor.
It’s no secret that our Commander-In-Chief is a smoker, but recently it appears that he’s been keeping it under wraps. His secret weapon? Binaca breath drops. Create a series of 30-second viral videos that feature President Obama smoking cigarettes and covering it up with Binaca Breath Drops.
This project will consist of three phases and be worth a total of $2,000 cash plus $1,000 worth of Travel and Accommodations and $1,500 worth of potential bonus prizes.
PHASE 1: CONCEPT – In 250 characters or less, tell us your Concept for the video. Remember, a concept is not a detailed script, it is a brief synopsis or distillation of what will happen in the video. The point here is to come up with a funny or clever scenario where the President needs to cover up his breath after smoking by using Binaca Breath Drops, so stay away from political jabs or anything inappropriate.
PHASE 2: CASTING: SCREEN TEST – Submit a video of your best Obama impersonation. You can create a new screen test or use your existing reel as long as it contains footage of you performing an Obama impersonation. The best impersonator will receive $1,000 cash plus travel to Los Angeles / accommodations and star in five viral videos produced by previous Binaca winners, Team Tiger Awesome. Back the winning candidate and earn a bonus cash prize - Any Tongal member who refers the winning Obama impersonator to the site, will win a bonus $500 cash prize. To refer an Obama impersonator, simply click the "Invite Friends" button on the Navigation Bar at the top of every page on Tongal. From here, you'll be able to enter the email address or send a Facebook invite to the impersonator. We'll track the sign up and if they win the Casting Phase, you'll earn $500.
PHASE 3: EXHIBITION – Try to generate as many views of the five viral videos as possible within a period of thirty (30) days using Tongal’s “Post On YouTube” functionality. The first FIVE members to accumulate 10,000 views will receive a $100 Amazon.com gift card and and the first two members that accumulate 50,000 views during the Exhibition Phase, as measured by YouTube and Tongal, will receive a 16 GB Wi-Fi enabled iPad. Here’s how it works:
1) Click on the video you want to share so that it pops up and plays.
2) On the bottom right of the Tongal Video Player, click on the “Post On YouTube” button.
3) Enter the information for your YouTube account into the prompt window. NOTE: this is case-sensitive.
4) Check to make sure the video has uploaded on your YouTube account. NOTE: It may take anywhere from five minutes up to two hours for the video to complete processing.
5) Every time someone watches the video you uploaded, the view will be recorded and count to your view total for that video.
