Let’s be honest; no one really wants to take vitamin pills. Some people need to take them, sure, but what the rest of us actually want is to be healthier, to be more fit and active, and to feel a sense of overall wellness from the inside out. We might think that vitamin pills are part of that healthy regimen, but there’s nothing enjoyable about them.
Luckily, we don’t have to take vitamin pills anymore. It’s a new day! vitafusion, the #1 Adult Gummy Vitamin Brand, is leading a “Nutrition Revolution” with a full line of great-tasting gummy vitamins and supplements that deliver a great taste and form experience, making taking your vitamins an enjoyable part of your day. Basically, folks, they make nutrition taste good – and it should taste good, because if taking your vitamins is enjoyable, then you’ll actually take your vitamins.
vitafusion is the nutrition brand that empowers women and men to start a “New Day” by encouraging them to replace unhealthy or difficult routines with healthy habits that are easy to maintain. vitafusion is the optimistic, inspiring and encouraging co-creator that works with you to design a healthy, active lifestyle.
Now it’s up to you, Tongalers, to drive awareness of their brand and to introduce new consumers to vitafusion and their delicious gummy vitamins. So, don’t be a pill! Check out more details below…
The goal of this project is to drive awareness for vitafusion’s gummy vitamins by creating a clever and shareable 30-second Video with a 15-second cut-down. Deliver a buzzworthy Video that illustrates the benefits of this more enjoyable vitamin form (pill vs gummy, adapting habits that are healthy and fun, etc.).
Your Video should be clever and creative, and look to make something that’s unique, with a message that’s simultaneously fun and healthy. Consider the theme “Nutrition Revolution: A New Day”, or the messaging, “Don’t be a pill!” These are messages that come across conceptually, even if unspoken, in two recent Videos that vitafusion rolled out:
Note the tone there, but don’t look to copy these Videos. They’re colorful, but they feel trusted, optimistic, positive, and empowering, and they also include a healthy dose of fun. vitafusion is open to animation, but you should really look to spread your wings and think outside the box.
--Storyboard/Script Approval: vitafusion will have storyboard and script approval. Pitch Winners will be required to send vitafusion storyboards and a script in the Pitch Phase for review before filming.

This Project will be worth a total of $33,000 and consists of 3 Phases: an Idea Phase, a Pitch Phase, and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: IDEA – Tell us your Idea to drive awareness for Vitafusion and their great-tasting gummy vitamins in 140 characters or less. Remember, an Idea (What is an Idea Phase?) is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the Video. As always, Ideas should be clever and engaging. The 2 winning Idea creators will receive $250 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for the Video based on their Idea. (That means if your winning Idea is the basis for the 1st Place Video, you will receive $850 total; if it’s the basis for the 2nd Place Video, you will receive $675) – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on the winning Idea from the previous Phase using:
The 2 most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, they will each receive $6,000 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winner will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $8,500 at minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $12,000 First Place Video Prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out The Indie Machines winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The 2 winners of the Pitch Phase will each create a 30-second Video along with a 15-second Cut-down. The 30-second Video and 15-second cut-down are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $12,000; 2nd place $8,500 (less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winners, as applicable).
--Music: Tongal has partnered with two premiere music providers: Audioblocks and Epidemic Sound. Any of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.
If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from other catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with our Music Release Form when you turn in your Video paperwork.
--Referral: Any Tongal member who refers one of the winning Video creators in this Project using the Tongal “Invite Friends” functionality will receive a referral fee equal to 5% of the amount won, up to $500 per place. Check out more about our Referral Program in FAQ.
