We all know that BAND-AID® Brand is the brand of choice for everyday bumps, cuts, blisters, and wounds. But for bigger injuries and post-surgery recovery, there’s BAND-AID® Brand of First Aid Products, designed to help you care for loved ones with confidence, even after major surgery. BAND-AID® Brand gauze pads and tapes are specifically designed to clean, cover, and secure, to help you or a loved one heal faster.
When a loved one goes through a major procedure like hip, shoulder, or spine surgery, it can be an emotionally fraught and stressful experience for you, the caregiver. Beyond concern for their health and recovery, you’re now in charge of helping them heal – and all you know is that it’s not as simple as some Neosporin® and a BAND-AID® Brand adhesive bandage. You know that BAND-AID® Brand is there for you with their line of First Aid Products like wraps, gauze, and waterproof tape – but how much do you need? How often should you reapply the wraps? When the care and recovery of your friend, child, parent, or grandparent is in your hands, knowing not only how but when and how much product to use is crucial for everyone.
When you want to give your loved ones the best possible post surgery care, BAND-AID® Brand of First Aid Products is there for all of their post surgery needs. Not only with products that are specific to various surgery types, but also with how-to Videos and a nurse hotline to guide you through every question you have and give you the confidence you need to be the best caregiver for your recovering loved one.
Now BAND-AID® Brand is turning to the Tongal community to share their stories of being a caregiver for a loved one post-surgery and pass down the knowledge you learned first-hand helping someone recuperate at home from major surgery.
Please read the remainder of the brief for all of the important details.
The goal of this project is to create a 60-second Video with a 15-second cut-down and a Suite of five (5) Images that communicate in an authentic and approachable way how BAND-AID® Brand of First Aid Products helped you care for a loved one post-surgery. BAND-AID® Brand understands that sometimes the best education comes from someone who’s had a similar experience, and want these Videos to have that personal, intimate, and authentic feeling.
BAND-AID® Brand really wants to see the emotional aspects and journey of being a caregiver for a loved one, be it friend or family. The same way that putting on a BAND-AID® Brand adhesive bandage now as an adult brings back a tinge of nostalgia for when mom or dad would care for your childhood wounds, we want you to bring out that emotional resonance in your Videos, along with a sense of authentic education on the benefits and uses of the Band-Aid® Brand of First Aid Products and educational resources.
