REFERENCE VIDEOS FOR INSPIRATION OR TONE:

Here’s are links to the variety of content types we’re open to. While some clearly have an associated cost above $250, we want you to feel inspired to go as outside the box as some of these creators.

Objectives

Hi Everyone, the Sponsor has decided not to move forward with a Pitch on this project. Though most Projects do move forward with a selected Pitch, we will always notify you in the event the Sponsor has decided not to move forward. Please note that regardless of the results, all submissions are reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the Project Team. We sincerely appreciate your time and effort on this project.

The Tongal Community consists of so many incredible creators and filmmakers, producing thousands of amazing videos every year, and as that community has grown - as that output has grown - the content we've been able to showcase on our YouTube channel has accumulated over 30,000 Subscribers. However, it's never really been tailor made for our YouTube... until now. Now, we’re giving you the opportunity and creative freedom to let your out-of-the-box ideas fly, to play around and showcase your work directly to Tongal's over 30,000 subscribers.

In this project, we’re asking you to create original content for the Tongal YouTube Channel, with any kind of video from 1 to 5 minutes in length. These can be individual videos, or even a limited video series, with a budget of $250 per video. Our goal is to greenlight a minimum of 4 videos each month. If you're pitching a series, this project will serve as a chance to develop your pilot.

While we’ll be refining the YouTube Channel over time, for the first quarter of 2021 THESE. VIDEOS. CAN. BE. ANYTHING. What do we mean by that? SCRIPTED. UNSCRIPTED. VIDEO LISTS. MINI-DOCUMENTARIES, HOW TO’S. FOUND FOOTAGE REMIXES, ANIMATIONS. MONTAGES. VIDEO ESSAYS. SHORTS. PRODUCT REVIEWS. COLLAGES. PUPPETS. CRAFTS. VLOGS. We'll even consider existing content for the channel, and like we said, it can be an individual video, or a short series. All we ask is that your videos either inform, entertain, or both, and that creativity must be at the heart of your content.

For your Pitch, we're open to taking a look at ideas and concepts that aren't yet fully formed, and happy to help you develop something that has potential. Look below at our reference videos to see the level of diversity we’re open to. When you submit your videos, our producers may have revisions and suggestions.

This is an always-on project and you can submit anytime. We will be reviewing pitches on a monthly basis.

If you are greenlit for a series of videos, this timeline will apply to your first 'pilot' video, and we'll work with you to develop timing for delivery on the remainder of the series.

EXPOSURE:

TARGET AUDIENCE: The Tongal Community and creators across the Internet - predominantly writers, filmmakers, directors, animators, editors, and producers

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES: You will be required to utilize the Tongal YouTube Channel title sequence, end card, thumbnail frames, and background loop (if needed).

Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, so please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We’re working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and our advice here is to make sure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline, while also ensuring everyone's safety.
