If you got all these references, then you’re exactly who we’re looking for now (and if you didn’t get those references…what are you doing? Get over to Wikipedia and catch up!). From groundbreaking formats and shows, to stories that break traditional molds, to the anchors who bring us global events on a daily basis, news shows connect us to each other and the world, often at a breakneck pace. What news we consume, how we consume it, and whose perspective we’re seeing it from – these all play a role in how we form our worldviews, what we do with our lives, or even just what we talk about over drinks with friends.

PHASE 1: Concepts – Tell us your Concepts in 250 characters or less.  Remember, a Concept is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the show, series, or episode.  As always, Concepts should be clever and engaging.  The winning Concept creators will receive $250 each.
