Mug wants all WILDCARD SUBMISSIONS to focus on "Dog" (their English Bulldog brand mascot). Make really fun wildcards about Dog, in the tone of Mug -- see #mughug, "How to Live Like Dog" tips, etc below -- and integrate Mug rootbeer bottles and cans. More details below:
Ever see a yoyo and immediately get transported back to awesome childhood memories? Or maybe you hear the Animaniacs theme song and somehow you still know every single word?
Well here’s another one. You remember Dog. Peering from a soda fountain, or a cool, refreshing can of Mug Root Beer. One sip and you remember good times, sitting around the dinner table with family, or in the backyard with friends and neighbors. Mug Root Beer is a classic that has endured way better than yoyos or our favorite animated series. The brand’s playful, fun attitude reminds you of fond memories with family and friends, especially with dinner or as a treat on a summer afternoon, but its modern take is what keeps you coming back for more, and makes you want to share it with your own family.
So here’s where you come in: Mug Root Beer wants to remind people everywhere that they LOVE Mug – AND, of course, their fun mascot, Dog. Get ready to bring the playfulness of the brand to life in TWO 15-second Videos!

Using Dog in your spot is strongly encouraged.
Share how Mug is the perfect beverage for group gatherings with family and friends, whether you're eating dinner with the family or hanging out with the whole neighborhood!
The goal of this project is to create pairs of 15-second Videos to remind people why they love Mug (great taste and a modern take on a classic beverage) and encourage them to share Mug whether they’re at home at mealtime spending QT with the family or at a gathering with family and friends. Mug also wants people to understand that the brand, and the brand’s mascot Dog, are playful, fun, and NEVER dusty, old fashioned, or stuffy like – ahem – some other root beer brands. Mug belongs with classic, memorable moments, like a family dinner, and makes them fun and playful.
