A little while back, we asked you to swede your favorite movie and the results blew us away. Now we want you to apply those awesome DIY chops to a genre that’s ripe for the sweding: music videos!
We’re looking for funny and inventive reimaginings of popular music videos – old, new and just plain weird. Maybe you want to recast Take On Me with dogs? Or recreate Nicki Minaj’s Anaconda with Claymation? Doesn’t matter. We’re into it.
And here’s the best part: the top Video winner will automatically be invited to the 2015 Tongies! We’ll fly you and a friend down to Los Angeles, put you up in a hotel and take you down the red carpet at the 2nd Annual Tongies! It’s going to be a blast – just ask these guys.
The goal of this project is create a sweded version of your favorite music video. There's no set length but make sure your music video swede comes in somewhere between 30 seconds and five minutes. You may use live action, cardboard, stop-motion, CGI or a combination to recreate your chosen music video in a funny and entertaining way.
