CULTURAL MOMENTS:

  • April Fools Day (One :15 video) - You probably know where this is going. It's not April Fool's Day without a fake out. For this video, [solidcore] wants to create Fake announcement video advertising some ridiculous [solidcore] related event, such as "this summer, get ready for extreme supersolid classes - new advanced classes that are 240 minutes long." You can use this video in created the fake ad. It's important to note, though, that you should clarify that it's not real within the first :05-:10 seconds, where you can fun with the "Happy April Fools from [solidcore]." Make sure it's all within brand guidelines, and still feels premium and aligned to the content on their socials.
  • World Health Day (Three 05-:10 videos) - This static image should feature statistics that demonstrate the benefits to working out, and be incorporated with one (or more) of the photos at the assets link above. It's suggested you pull statistics from one of the following sources linked below. this will link out to a blog post from us going into further detail, so please leave blank space for an in-app button. One example of copy you could use may be "why working out is good for your body and mind."
  • Earth Day (Static Image with matching PSD template) - There's a lot of opportunity to have fun with this one, and [solidcore] would love to see your creativity on it. How could you incorporate Earth Day theming with [solidcore]? Maybe it's an illustration of [sweatlana] outside enjoying a day under the trees. You're encouraged to get creative with this image so long as it's on-brand and premium. It's especially important to avoid anything too cutesy or kid-like here. This image should include the text "from all of us at [solidcore], happy earth day."
  • AAPI Heritage Month (Static Image with matching PSD template) - This image will serve as a template for [solidcore] to add their own photos and text. It should leave a blank space in the center with an AAPI heritage month text or graphic at top and the [solidcore] logo at the bottom. You're encourage to find creative ways to incorporate AAPI themes while keeping the image simple so that what [solidcore] chooses to place in the center is the center of the viewer's attention.
  • Mental Health Month (Static Image with matching PSD template) - These 3 videos will be posted throughout mental health month as self-care reminders. It's important that these feature engaging movement of some kind whether that be light animation illustrating the reminder or creative use of motion graphics. Some examples of reminders you could choose to feature may be a reminder to take a few deep breaths, drink water, or take a mindful minute. The [solidcore] team is open to your suggestions as to what self-care reminders you'd like to feature, and which medium you choose, so long as it relates to and spotlights the importance of mental health while highlighted [solidcore] in the same premium way done in the other deliverables.
  • Mother's Day (Static Image with matching PSD template) - This image needs to leave room for [solidcore] to add a photo, as they'll be highlighting [solidcore] moms on this special day. The text here should wish a happy mother's day from [solidcore]. The imagery you choose to feature, and whether it incorporates [solidcore] stock or original illustrations is totally up to you, so long as it meets the requirements stated above in objectives.
  • Memorial Day (Static Image with matching PSD template) - With this image, [solidcore] wants to prioritize simplicity, simply wishing "a happy memorial day from all of us at solidcore." It's important that this isn't overly patriotic, but it can subtly nod to holiday colors.
  • Juneteenth Static Image with matching PSD template) - Like AAPI heritage, this image will serve as a template where [solidcore] will add their own photos and text. It should leave a blank space in the center, and could incorporate a Juneteenth graphic at the top. You're encouraged to find simple, creative ways to incorporate Juneteenth while keeping the image simple so that what [solidcore] chooses to place in the center is the center of the viewer's attention. See HERE for 2023's post — [solidcore] would love to see a new take with similar energy.
  • Father's Day (Static Image with matching PSD template) - To celebrate father's day, [solidcore] will be creating a special blog post. This static image needs to grab viewers' attention, wish them a happy father's day from [solidcore], and leave space for an in-app link to the blog post. The goal here is to get people to click on the link to engage with the blog post, think of ways you can make this engaging yet simple, and keep the center of attention on the message.

Objectives

If you don't already know, [solidcore] workouts are 50 minutes of full-body strength training on a pilates-inspired reformer, and they're truly an immersive experience: held in a dimly-lit room, under blue lights, fueled by energizing music, and driven by an experienced coach who provides everyone with personalized instruction. It's incredibly exciting, and [solidcore] wants to infuse that kind of excitement into a collection of Instagram Stories for their channel that can celebrate some of the key cultural moments and holidays happening this spring.

The goal of this project is to produce Instagram Stories that create awareness for [solidcore] by supporting different cultural moments and holidays, while highlighting [solidcore] through consistent branding and elevated visual elements related to each occasion. It's important that your videos incorporate lots of dynamic movement, especially in the motion text and in the visual elements you include, so you'll want to find interesting and energetic ways to bring that into the video, even having elements move and dance about on screen or by incorporating light animation.

Follow the link in Relevant Assets section below for a collection of [solidcore] photos you can use in your content, but feel free to expand on these with your own digital creations. If you create anything of your own, it's important that you keep them in the style of [solidcore]'s premium aesthetic, and important that they don't become too cutesy. [solidcore] is all about the time under the blue lights, so finding ways to incorporate the studio shots or [sweatlana] - their pilates-inspired reformer workout machine - would be ideal.

Both April Fools Day and Mental Health Month are videos, the rest are static images. In the assets folder there is a video specifically provided for use in the April Fools video. For Mental Health Month, the sponsor is looking for 3 short videos to provide self-care reminders for their Instagram followers. These could be in any medium, but the sponsor is most interested in how you could integrate 2D animation to make these more engaging. Look in the Background for more info on each of the cultural moments and holidays, along with some key details. The execution is all about communicating the information in a fun, polished, and premium way. The static images should be thoughtfully designed; the sponsor is specifically interested in how you can add depth and dimension to these so they don't feel overly flat.

For all static assets, we're requesting a graphic template in addition to the final image itself. We're thinking that'll mean Photoshop PSD assets, but we'd also be open to Canva templates here too. These should consist of individual slides conveying the pertinent information so that the [solidcore] team can quickly and easily add in the copy text and holiday specific team photos closer to the posting date.  That said, please speak to how you'll templatize these in an easily accessible way for the [solidcore] team.
