Background

ViX+ has programming for everyone in the family: premium Spanish language series, exclusive movie premieres, and an exclusive selection of live soccer games, so fútbol fanatics can follow all the action. In addition to featuring live Liga MX matches, ViX+ is the only Spanish-language streaming service in the U.S. with coverage of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League matches. ViX+ is also the Spanish-language home of all UEFA National Team competitions including the UEFA Nations League, Euro Qualifiers, UEFA Euro, and the Finalissima.

Below are some of the claims for inspiration and tone for the copy, and you can find details here on T-Mobile's site, but please keep in mind that all copy for these videos will need to be written in Spanish or Spanglish. Approved Spanish translations of the claims below is available for the pitch winner.

REFERENCE VIDEOS FOR INSPIRATION OR TONE:

Objectives

Are you interested in Spanish-language premium content? Then say no more! T-Mobile has partnered with Univision and they're giving new and existing customers in the US one year of ViX+ access. ViX is the first major worldwide streaming service developed for the Spanish-speaking community, and the amount of programming that you can access is incredibly exciting. It's got over 10,000 hours of original series and movies, with live sports, news, and entertainment - plus, exclusive soccer matches from the best leagues in Latin America and Europe for all the fútbol fanatics out there.

The goal of this project is to get Spanish-language audiences excited about ViX+, and let them know that about T-Mobile's ViX+ offer, by creating three different videos in Spanish, and Spanglish, for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Twitter. T-Mobile is searching for a creator that has honed their vertical video skills and can utilize some of the more exciting trends to create something that'll immediately hook people and be really engaging. Think about exciting vertical trends and formats and how they handle transitions, styles, and actions. Live-action is the preferred approach, and while the team is open to the stop-motion approach, they aren't looking for any 2D or 3D animation.

The three videos should EACH be unique, but you have freedom in how you distinguish them from each other. They could certainly use the same talent and location, but they don't have to, and it might be more appealing if they didn't. That said, we anticipate that the main differences between the videos are in narrative and messaging. Either way though, you'll need to create each video in BOTH Spanish (for Instagram, Twitter) and Spanglish (for TikTok). Importantly, you should note that this offer is for customers in the United States, and since the Spanish-speaking community in the US is very diverse, we want to make sure that the language and accents that you include make this feel relatable to a wider audience - not just Mexican-Americans.

Additionally, these have to keep T-Mobile's consistently vibrant and playful voice. T-Mobile is, after all, the Un-carrier, and the content that they create is clever, cool, and quirky. Get inspired by taking a look at the T-Mobile Latino IG account, as well as their TikTok account, so you see what we mean. For more on ViX+ and messaging, check out the Background section.

One consideration when jumping into these is that it is not necessary for you to have a large team or extensive production capacities to execute this project. These videos could be shot with just your phone, if you have a strong concept that can still get people excited.

For your pitch, please include some detail on the trends, formats, transitions, edits, or effects you'd use in your videos. If needed, include links to TikTok or IG videos (they don't have to be your own) that represent what you'd be aiming for.

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES:

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a bid. Though most projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit bid, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any bids via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

Shooting live action or stop motion? Our priority is ensuring everyone's safety, and we're now requiring a COVID safety protocol plan for all relevant productions. Please review our COVID-19 Production Safety Guide and check federal, state, and local rules before and during your shoot to make sure your on-set protocols are up to date. We're working hard to keep people working during this extraordinary time, and you should ensure your submission is executable within the anticipated timeline and budget, while also ensuring everyone's safety.
