ABOUT SNOWPIERCER - Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name. Mr. Wilford (Sean Bean), the creator of Snowpiercer, emerges, to take back the train that was stolen from him, creating a new power struggle. This causes a dangerous rift as passengers are divided between their loyalty to the revolutionary Layton (Daveed Diggs) and to Mr. Wilford, who has a new train, new technology and a game plan that keeps everyone guessing. While Layton battles Wilford for the soul of Snowpiercer, Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) leads the charge on a shocking new discovery that could change the fate of humanity.

More about the MORE CAMPAIGN - TBS, TNT, and truTV are expanding their commitment to provide equity & representation through a new platform that acts as a promise to prioritize and celebrate Black Excellence and BIPOC talent, both on and off screen and within the TNets. It’s a celebration of culture and heritage.
Snowpiercer is gearing up for its third season, and TNT is looking to dive deeper into core themes and storylines from the show in an original digital miniseries thought up by YOU. If you've been inspired by Andre Layton's experience, or the Tailie revolution, or just love the concept of a train that never stops running, maybe you have an awesome idea for an original digital miniseries that explores fascinating aspects of the show, and so we want to hear from you.
We're expecting the digital miniseries to play out across 3-5 episodes, each running about 2-5 minutes, so we're looking for concepts that involve more than a single execution. You're basically creating a synopsis for the miniseries itself, and your concepts should involve an actual narrative. It's important that you consider the characters' – and Snowpiercer's – journey so far, as well as themes like power, loyalty, survival, class warfare, and more. How you choose to interpret these themes, or expand upon the characters, is ultimately up to you.
This is your chance to really dig deep into an established world, grab on to something that interests you, and blow it out in new, rich way – or take it in an entirely unexpected direction.
What does this miniseries look like, and what story does it tell? Does your story take place on Snowpiercer, or in another environment or world entirely? Your narrative concepts can explore a theme from the show in a new world or environment, or dive into the story of established supporting characters. However, if your concepts do take place in the established world of Snowpiercer, they cannot go back and change past events; keep canon canon.
SNOWPIERCER THEMES TO CONSIDER
Ultimately, greenlit concepts will be brought to life by Black filmmakers and animators through WarnerMedia's MORE campaign and partnership with Tongal, and produced with a total budget of around $60,000. With that in mind, you can think about how your concept could play out in a live-action OR as an animated execution. Although you're not responsible for interpreting this through the lens of a black creator - and we realize you may not be one yourself - we'd still encourage you to consider how the show's themes, storylines, and characters might be expanded upon, paralleled, or given a POV that ties into Black culture and stories. It's possible that you might have a good take that taps into how Snowpiercer relates to real-life current events and the realities of being Black in America, so we'd love to hear it.
