Background

Objectives

If you've watched TV or scrolled through a social feed over the past year, chances are you know that Snoop Dogg is everywhere right now. And everywhere that Snoop goes, he's been wearing Skechers shoes as part of his Skechers x Snoop Dogg sneaker collaboration. To help promote these sneakers and the overall collaboration, the team at Skechers is looking for big and unexpected ideas that can capture the attention of Snoop fans, general sneakers fans, and maybe even the media, to show them a side of the Skechers brand that they've maybe never seen before.

When we say big and unexpected, we really mean it. Don't think of this as a single video idea, but more along the lines of an activation. Is there some sort of event Snoop could do? A contest? A game? A partnership? An app? A show or series? Something else entirely? We're looking for your most blue sky, out of the box, and "wouldn't it be cool if..."-type ideas. Don't worry about budget constraints at this stage - the sky is truly the limit. No matter the idea though, it should tie back to the Skechers x Snoop Dogg sneaker collaboration in some way.

Another key thing to note here is we want this content to appeal to young Gen Z and Millennial audiences with an interest in fashion, sneakers, and style, but who may not currently be considering Skechers footwear. That said, be sure to think about how we might be able to present Skechers as a brand in unexpected ways, or in unexpected places. We don't want to try too hard, but we do ultimately want to surprise people and get them to think, "Wow, I didn't know Skechers did that."

EXPOSURE: Exact placements will depend on the concept, but you can assume the content may live in any of the following places:

TARGET AUDIENCE: Men & women in the Gen Z and Millennial age ranges who appreciate comfort, fashion, music, culture & celebrities

TONE/FEEL: Youthful, cool & unexpected
