Let's imagine, Tongalers, that you're walking out of a business with a big bag full of swag. Sweet, right? But if you take a peek in there, what do you see? A couple pens, a t-shirt, maybe a coffee mug with a logo and some refrigerator magnets? Probably not that sweet. Could be why that bag ends up in the backseat of your car with a few half-empty water bottles and that smelly old sneaker. And why do you even need the bag? Easier disposal? It's time for a change! We think you should go for swag like it's birthday gift 6 months too soon. Swag's gotta have some style and flash.
Which is why, as we gear up for the 3rd Annual Tongies, it's time for cool new Tongal swag - and we want to know what you think! When you imagine walking out of Tongal, what do you want to take with you? What gear, gadgets, or gizmos should we give out to everyone we love and work with? Should it be wearable? Functional? Flyable? Something no one's ever seen before? There are a lots of possibilities out there and we're open to anything that you think could be awesome. There's a good chance it might end up in your hands after all.
And speaking of that, if we select your brilliant Idea for swag, not only will we put that swag in your hands, but the winning Tongaler will also be invited to the 2016 Tongies! That means you and a friend will get to attend the 3rd Annual Tongies here in Los Angeles. We’ll fly you out, put you up in a hotel, and let you strut your stuff down the red carpet... before sending you both home with some pretty sweet stuff... and maybe a refrigerator magnet, for the heck of it.

The goal of this project is to send us some great Ideas for Tongal branded swag. It could be anything from gear to tech to office supplies and toys. It could be something functional or wearable, but it could also be something that's simply novel and fun. Be clever with whatever you submit, and think of something unexpected but cool. There are no set restrictions on what it could be, so don't restrict yourself to an imaginary budget... although a Tongal jetpack could be hard for us to justify.
Additionally, if you want to reference an example of something specific that we could use, you can include an image as well, but it's not required.
--Target Audience: Our swag winds up in the hands of everyone we know and work with; filmmakers, brand managers, advertising and marketing executives, agency and digital partners, tech gurus, on-screen talent, and more. It's a wide swath, and there's no single group it should target. As we gear up for the 3rd Annual Tongies, we're also looking at giving out a ton of it to the nominees and attendees.
--Executional Mandatories: We've already got mousepads, notebooks, ice cube molds, pint glass tumblers, coffee mugs, hoodies, t-shirts, and stickers, so try to avoid Ideas that come close to our existing swag.
This project will be worth a trip to the 3rd Annual Tongies in March of 2016 and consist of an Idea Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: IDEA – Submit your Idea for Tongal branded Swag in 140 characers or less. The ONE (1) winning Idea creator will receive two invitations to attend the 3rd Annual Tongies in Los Angeles, with two round trip plane tickets and a two-night hotel stay in Los Angeles.
1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.
2. BY SUBMITTING AN IDEA ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.
3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.
5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.
6. Submissions must be in the English language or subtitled.
7. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.
8. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
