Background

We’ve received great Ram stories from the Ram Owners’ Stories Project and now we’re looking for you to bring the stories of SIX (6) Ram truck owners to life and show how their Ram trucks enable them to live the lives they want to live.

Please pitch on the following stories:

James “Doc” Beard (New York, NY)

James’s 2015 Ram is his “ticket to ride,” his prize. And he’s earned it. Because he was a steel worker in Michigan? A Naval Commando with 7 combat deployments? A paramedic? A railroad engineer? A chemistry teacher? No. It’s because he started as a golf caddy, but knew he’d rather LEAD NOT FOLLOW. We see Doc in his world, friendly & helpful. Today he’ll pull out his chain saw and help a stranger with a downed tree.

Anthony Schwickrath (Hellertown, PA)

Anthony is the owner of A Furry Tail Come True, a doggy daycare! His Ram truck has seen hundreds of trips to the pet store picking up supplies for over 100 pups! He regularly stops by the animal shelter to pick up homeless dogs to foster until they find new forever homes! The dogs ride in style on their way to his cage-free doggy daycare facility! He purchased his Ram in 2013 for the sole purpose of expanding to more locations, and it remains a crucial tool in helping all his furry friends!

Ryan Moody (Anchorage, AK)

Ryan Moody lives in Anchorage and loves to explore the wilds of Alaska with the guys - his dad and son. They jump in his 2016 Laramie Crew Cab EcoDiesel, fill it to the brim with fishing equipment and drive to a lake where they hop in the family’s biplane. They fly over lakes and mountains to prime, “locals only” fishing spots surrounded by bears and Mother Nature. They get to bond while catching fresh fish for their family and friends. Ryan says his Ram makes adventures with his family possible.

Buzz Tyson (Oxford, PA)

As the executive director for the Lighthouse Youth Center, Buzz Tyson is resourceful, reliable, and works hard to meet the needs of his community; his Ram does the same. A visible trademark in the neighborhood, Buzz’s truck allows him to operate a chicken barbecue business that funds the Lighthouse, annually feeds nearly 400 individuals who attend the youth center, and offers an opportunity to meet and greet potential donors. His heart is to serve; his Ram allows him to do it.

Cliff Jones (Forsyth, GA)

My current Ram is a 2015 Ram Sport. Before that a 2012 Sport, a 98 Quad Cab V8 with 250k miles when I sold it. I still miss that truck. Kinda like an old pair of shoes, it’s hard to throw them away, when they wear so good! My uncles probably influenced me on buying Ram trucks! They all drive Rams, 1/2 tons - 3/4 tons. From 1967 (with over 300k miles on it) to ’09+ 3/4 tons. I’m not sure why Ram trucks, I’m sure it had a lot to do with my faith in God, and my family’s history with Ram trucks!

Mark Peterson (Stanchfield, MN)

“Ram has a lot more power and is more reliable. In the back country, pulling heavy loads like horses and my kids, I need all the power and reliability I can get.” That’s Mark on why he chose Ram over all the rest. We’ll follow Mark & his amazing horse Dusty as they track bear, moose and coyote for wildlife films in rural Minnesota. And we’ll join them as they stop by a Ronald McDonald house to entertain sick kids, where Dusty (the horse) signs autographs, gives presents and even answers questions!

Objectives

The goal of this project is to create an inspiring, aspirational, authentic and relatable up to 90-second video based on one of the winning stories from the Ram Owners’ Stories Project.

We want consumers to see Ram trucks as a lifestyle brand that is a reflection of their passions and interests, and in turn, drive top of mind awareness, consideration, and interest in the brand. The takeaway should be appreciation for the vehicle and its capabilities.
