Everyone’s personal experience with period pain is uniquely terrible. The words, "PMS" and "cramps" don’t really do it justice. That’s why we’re looking for new ways to explain what it really feels like. Give us your genius, funny and insightful new Names for symptoms that will make talking about periods more fun, more accurate, and more empathetic.
Your Name can be a never-before-seen word, a combination of existing words, or even a short phrase – as long as it fits in 50 characters or fewer. Just make sure that it doesn’t include any swears, derogatory language or brand names.
To help you get started, we’ve listed WebMD’s most common PMS symptoms below. The majority of women experience at least a couple of them during their cycle. These symptoms (or combinations of them) are what you should be describing in the Names you submit. You may also choose to describe other situations related to periods - such as getting your period on the first day of vacation.
After you’ve given us your Name, be sure to explain what symptom or situation it’s describing and why it’s the perfect fit.
The goal of this project is to come up with a memorable new Name to describe annoying PMS symptoms.

This Project will be worth a total of $2,500 and consists of a Name Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: NAME – Come up with a memorable Name for period symptoms. In the “Title” section of the submission form, place your name for symptom, and in the body, feel free to add any notes that you think might support your submission. Each Name winner will receive $250.
1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.
3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.
5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.
6. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.
7. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
8. In the event that fewer than 100 Names are received, the Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest for up to fourteen (14) days at their discretion.
9. Winners must complete the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment.
