Background

Objectives

Tongal is looking for an experienced comedy writer (or team) with film, television, or serial credits to work on a big, fast-moving upcoming project with two major brands. We can't give you any more details quite yet, but rest assured this is a very exciting opportunity to flex your writing chops and work with other industry-leading writers. We're ideally looking for someone who knows basketball, preferably women's professional basketball, and who is available for fast-turn commitments over the course of this year.

If this sounds interesting to you (or someone you know), send us your writing portfolio with your past work, preferably with film and TV writing samples. Make sure to specifically call out any experience that you have with comedy or sports writing. From there, the Tongal team will set interviews with select writers during the week of March 31st, where we can talk through expectations for this project in more detail. Budget and scope for this project will be determined during this process.

For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.

EXPOSURE: We expect content will be used on the platforms below, but if casting talent, be sure they review our required Talent Release before they're cast, as it is NOT limited to these platforms. You should also review our Music providers in the Project Requirements, as well as the platform best practices.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Sports fans of all ages
