Background

The trick to this project is all about recognizing brand priority. Which is more impactful, the parent or individual brand, and how can we experiment with design to emphasize each?

Endorsement - When considering the endorsement approach, take a look at other examples to see how the parent brand is still a part of the design, but it sits in support. The parent brand (Nature Made) would not dominate the design, and it would sit as an indicator of quality like an achievement or badge of honor. Ultimately, the endorsement approach puts the parent brand as a second priority visually.

Sub-brand - Conversely, there are many design examples where we lead with the parent brand because it is more recognizable and attention-grabbing, and we position Nurish as the Sub-brand. In this strategy, we lead with the parent brand and make Nurish a modifier or clause of the familiarity we already have with Nature Made.

It will take an interesting blend to maintain the established branding of each entity while also marrying them together in these two different dynamics. Reference Brand Guidelines for Nature Made and Nurish for guidance on maintaining the brands' current aesthetics. If your design sparks enough interest, it could lead to additional work to help Nurish further explore this dynamic.

Objectives

Nurish by Nature Made is a subscription service that creates personalized nutritional supplement packets full of the nourishment you need to be at your best every day. The service is convenient, but it is also backed by the quality and reliability of Nature Made. Nurish is looking for creative input on how to best link their relationship with Nature Made in their logo layout. This is less about redesigning the actual logos and more about exploring how they work together. To help them decide on a direction, they are interested in seeing two design executions: one with Nurish as a sub-brand, and then one with Nature Made as an endorsement brand.

If your design sparks enough interest, it could lead to additional work to help Nurish further explore their visual identity in conjunction with Nature Made. You can find more info on these dynamics in the background section.
