The Sponsor has decided not to move forward with a Pitch on this project. Though most Projects do move forward with a selected Pitch, we will always notify you in the event the Sponsor has decided not to move forward. Please note that regardless of the results, all submissions are reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the Project Team. We sincerely appreciate your time and effort on this project.

Objectives

Nickelodeon is the number one entertainment brand for kids and kids-at-heart, and it's where you can always expect unpredictable fun and an outrageously good time. The Nick team is currently rolling out their new 'splat' logo, which you might've already seen on their social channels. If you haven't, be sure to check it out on their Instagram. Its iconography is bold and new for the younger audience, but it also represents an evolution for the older crowd. It's tapping into the nostalgia of the Nick splat of the 2000s era - one that many of us grew up with. More than that, the new logo is a literal portal to the boundless world of unbridled imagination and endless possibilities that following your "kidstincts" makes possible.

To help transport Nick Kids of all ages into the 'Nickverse', Nickelodeon is looking for a single talented creator to produce an engaging AR filter designed for three different social platforms: Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. Creatively, the filter should be the same across those three platforms, but each platform has its own technical specifications and parameters for AR filters that will need to be accounted for.

Your filter should transform the 'splat' logo into a portal that takes users inside the crazy world of Nickelodeon. Make sure to check out some examples in the Background for inspiration on how this portal could come to life. The portal should NOT be specific to any one Nickelodeon show. Instead, it should focus on the Nick universe as a whole - so think lots of orange, lots of purple, and of course, lots of green slime. While the overall filter should be show-agnostic, the Nick team is game for you to incorporate 'Easter eggs' from different properties for those little "aha!" moments for hardcore Nick fans. For example:

Your filter should be geared towards an older audience (16+) so any Easter eggs should lean more on older, nostalgic Nickelodeon shows than current programming. Filters can utilize 2D or 3D elements and even sounds based on what works best for your idea. The Nick team has some 2D design elements from their brand library that can be provided to the greenlit creator, if helpful for your concept. Above all, the filter should be fun and encourage people to try it out.

In your treatment, we encourage you to submit at least two ideas for the filter that you would like to create. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.
