DreamTM Past Reference Content
How often do you get to officially choose the name of something? Maybe your new pet? Your car? Your kid? And if you did get the chance, what would it be? Agamemnon? Blanket? X Æ A-Xii? ...Carl?
Okay, so maybe no one trusts you to pick the name usually, but we do! And now is the time to get clever and bold, because T-Mobile is looking to rebrand its company-wide internal employee content hub with a new name. The program currently goes by "DreamTM," and it's designed to provide employees with exclusive shareable social content about T-Mobile's business and offerings for use on their personal social media accounts so they can stand out in a sea of sameness online and relate to their already established audience. T-Mobile employees can socialize company announcements and campaigns, engage with real-time company announcements, and even participate in exclusive internal contests. There are over 70,000 T-Mobile employees, and that means there's a lot of people tapping into this incredible program, day in and day out, so it's important that the new name feels clever, insightful, and memorable.
T-Mobile is known for being the "Un-carrier," with never-ending customer benefits and all sorts of fantastic employee perks - plus, they're also America's largest and fastest 5G Network, which is kind of a big deal. There's a LOT that T-Mobile employees talk about online: shiny new tech products and phone releases, exclusive customer offers and mobile plans, special in-store events, brand partnerships, corporate earnings, international travel plans, and even local charity events. The list of topics goes on and on, and they're topics that are important not just to T-Mobile, but to all of the individual people who are part of these efforts. When brainstorming you should make sure to think about the initiatives behind the program and the culture behind the Magenta branded company. Remember that T-Mobile has a distinct voice that is vibrant and playful, self-aware and confident, celebratory and quirky - NOT absurd, but still professional. They want to inspire their employees while providing them with a space to cultivate meaningful relationships so this program should connect to those standards in an evocative and emotional way. This program even allows employees the opportunity to share their own content for the entire company to see. T-Mobile also understands how competitive social platforms can be when it comes to getting your content out there, so their internal teams work hard to make sure they curate videos and photos that are relatable and entertaining while also helping their employees to easily explain their latest benefits and deals to friends and family. So the only question now is what do we name the internal T-Mobile hub that houses exclusive, incredible, and fun ready-to-share content?
