** PROJECT UPDATE - PLEASE BASE YOUR DEMONSTRATIONS OFF OF THIS INSIGHT **
I can now take my laptop places I wouldn't normally be able to because it's so thin.
Unlike our pants sizes after the holidays, it seems like the general rule in the electronics industry is that with time, devices get smaller and thinner. From the Walkman to the iPod Shuffle, sleeker and thinner industry design is a natural evolution of technology.
Our Mystery Sponsor is looking for insights into why somebody would want the world's thinnest laptop and a way of demonstrating that thinness in a compelling manner.
We’ll be breaking this challenge into two phases:
Phase One Insight: Why do you want and why do you care about having a thin laptop? What would drive you to purchase a thinner laptop to replace what you currently have? Please give examples of use cases of when/ why you would want to have a thin laptop.
Phase Two Demonstration: Based off the top insights, tell us how you would demonstrate thinness in an amazing and epic way. The idea here is to take everyday use cases and turn them into something extraordinary to demonstrate the product's thinness.
