In case you haven’t already heard, My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream is delicious ice cream wrapped in sticky sweet rice dough. Not only are the Mochi Ice Cream a delectable, delicious snack that fits in the palm of your hand, but also, the brand fully embraces the playful and colorful side to life. A colorful brand, for colorful people, My/Mo Mochi Ice Cream is changing the snack game one mind blowing mochi at a time.
So it’s no surprise that when two cement spheres appeared in the parking lot of My/Mo’s headquarters in Los Angeles, California (check ’em out in the Assets tab below) they saw it as the perfect opportunity to keep the playfulness going and create a series of murals upon these unadorned canvases. To make these spheres just as colorful as My/Mo, we’re asking you to submit Concepts on what you’d like to see local Los Angeles artists paint on them. Yes, seriously, we want you to flex your creative muscles and tell us what you would like to see painted on these balls each month.
Read onto the objectives section to find out more information on this creatively charged project!
The goal of this project is to source six playful, colorful and unique Concepts of different subjects of murals that will be brought to life by local Los Angeles artists on spheres stationed at My/Mo’s headquarters. As new murals will occur on a monthly basis, while not a mandatory, think thematically about what’s happening that month, as this could be an interesting subject to depict. Or don’t. We’re really opening the creative hatch on this and want to hear your awesome ideas for the different artwork you’d like to see created.
From a pure execution stand point, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a mural that’s painted – creatively think of different art mediums that could be sustained within the subject you’re submitting. We really want you to have fun and get creative with this one!
--Target Audience: Millennial men and women
--Tone: Bold, colorful, playful
