Background

Changing the world by supporting those in need is more than just a nice idea, it is the underlying belief of the not for profit Mindtree Foundation. As the Corporate Social Responsibility arm of Mindtree, a leader in IT Services and Technology, they are dedicated to fostering education, supporting people with disabilities, and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.

Now they need your help, Tongalers, to come up with inspirational concepts on how to raise awareness of the essential philanthropic work the Mindtree Foundation does in building a better future for communities around the world through the act of giving.

This concept needs to be executable as a video, however we aren’t looking for the typical stat driven video seen all over Facebook. Communities are more than cold hard numbers, so we want concepts that do that, focus on the people and lives that are touched by the Mindtree Foundation’s mission of giving.

Please read on to the Objectives for more…

Objectives

We are looking for emotional and inspirational concepts for a 2-4 minute video that raises awareness of the social responsibility efforts that the Mindtree Foundation undertakes.

The Mindtree Foundation holds itself accountable to the community that we all live in and aims to make a deep and lasting impact on education, employment, and creating a better world for people with disabilities. They do this through 4 objectives listed in the Mindtree Foundation charter that should serve as center focus for the video.

  1. Promote education (currently focusing on rural areas) to underprivileged children with a special emphasis on people with disability
  2. Provide relief of poverty by way of assistance to food, shelter, and clothing
  3. Provide relief of distress caused by calamities of nature
  4. Provide medical support to deserving people

Because Mindtree Foundation’s mission is so community-oriented the video concept should be people-centric and tell a moving story that motivates the viewer to want to learn more and be their own giver.
