REFERENCE VIDEOS FOR INSPIRATION OR TONE:
Even though it's only June, it's never too early to start thinking about the upcoming Holiday season. Yes, we went there. What's more refreshing than thinking about fresh snow when you're melting in the summer heat?
The goal of this project is to source winter and holiday-themed concepts for a series of LEGO® stop-motion shorts where each video can stand on its own - but can also be a part of a larger narrative. We're looking for fun vignettes and moments (:15-:30 in length) that embody LEGO® humor. The connection - the part about the larger narrative - is sort of like adding an easter egg into your concept as a bonus, enabling it to plug into other videos seamlessly.
For example, imagine a video where LEGO® Ninjago®'s Sensai Wu throws a snowball off-screen, and then in another video, you see LEGO® City's Fire Chief McCloud catching it. Or maybe Mia from LEGO® Friends puts a present under a tree, and then Green Ninja Lloyd opens it in another video. As long as each video works on its own, the possibilities are endless, and can go in any creative direction.
Your submission should include a concept for one video as well as an explanation of how this concept could fit into a larger narrative (i.e. a longer video with a surprise reveal). For more information, check out the Background. For any questions or other project updates, check out the Project Forum.
