Maybe you spend as much time crossing things off your to do list as you do baking up fresh cookies for your office. Maybe you spend your weekends hiking  the trails of Griffith Park or tending your tomatoes and chickens in your urban garden. Maybe you get up before the sun to teach a daily spin class before taking on your 8am conference calls. Maybe you’re a working mom with a passion for pottery who throws like a pro. Maybe you love dogs so much that you have a side hustle as a dog walker in your spare time. At Tongal, we call these folks Weekday Warriors: people who don’t let the hours in a day dictate how they live their life, and power their way through work and hobbies alike with a go get ‘em attitude and a lot of caffeine (ideally in the form of cold brew coffee…because who has time to wait for the coffee maker to brew?). Now Tongal is looking to connect with some LA-based Weekday Warriors…and we need your help finding the right people.

Anyone who refers an LA-based Weekday Warrior that we end up working with on a photoshoot for a client or selecting as part of this referral project stands to earn $250. Yup, that’s $250 just for knowing the right people.

Please read below for more information: 

• The referrals will be judged on the following criteria: the Weekday Warrior must be based in LA; you must submit a summary, up to 500 characters, about the person you’re referring; and you must submit a photo of the subject, preferably doing their favorite activity.
• You may refer yourself.
• If more than one individual submits the same referral, the first to submit will be awarded the $250 should we end up working with or selecting the referred maker before November 30, 2017.

The goal of this project is to find amazing LA-based Weekday Warriors to participate in upcoming photoshoot. Anyone who refers someone we end up working with or selecting as part of this referral project before November 30, 2017 stands to earn $250. Yep, that’s $250 just for knowing the right people.

We are looking for actual people to be subjects in a photoshoot, not actors playing a character.

• Location of Warrior – They must be based in the Los Angeles area.

• Availability – please specify if your Weekday Warrior is available Thursday, 4/13 for a one-day photoshoot. The winning Warriors will be compensated for their time outside of the referral prizes on this project.

YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

2. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

3. Submissions must be in the English language or subtitled.

4. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.

5. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.

6. In the event that fewer than 50 Referrals are received, the Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest for up to fourteen (14) days at their discretion.

7. See OFFICIAL RULES for additional contest information, terms and conditions. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between these requirements and the Official Rules, the terms and conditions of these requirements shall prevail.
