Most of us need snacks to help us power through our days. While the time between breakfast and lunch is manageable (barely), the time between lunch and dinner? Fuhgeddaboudit! No one likes being "hangry."
Whether you're sitting in traffic on the way home (hey we don't have Tony Stark's Iron Man suit to fly us from place to place) or you're trying to power through afternoon meetings, snacks make all the difference. Having a handful of Cheez-It® or Keebler® Club® Minis can stave off that afternoon slump, and if you need a little boost? Keebler® Chips Deluxe® Cookies, Kellogg’s® Fruit Flavored Snacks, and Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats® have you covered.
Now your favorite snacks from Kellogg’s® have joined forces with Marvel to bring the excitement of Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron together with the fun of Cheez-It®, Keebler® Club® Minis, Keebler® Chips Deluxe® Cookies, Kellogg’s® Fruit Flavored Snacks, and Kellogg's® Rice Krispies Treats®. We want you to spread awareness of the partnership by bringing the fun and excitement to life! See below for more details.

This project will be worth a total of $55,000 and consists of FOUR (4) Phases: an Idea Phase, a Pitch Phase, a Video Phase, and an Exhibition Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: IDEA – Tell us your Idea for a Kellogg’s® and Marvel Video in 140 characters or less. Remember, an Idea (What is an Idea Phase?) is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the Video. As always, Ideas should be clever and engaging. The winning Idea creators will receive $250 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for any winning Videos based on their Idea (That means if your winning Idea is the basis for the 1st place Video, you will receive $700, the 2nd place Video $500, 3rd place Video $400, 4th Place Video $300, 5th place Video $250) – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What Is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The FOUR (4) most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $2,500 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $5,000, at a minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $14,000 first place Video prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out Erik Beck’s winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The FOUR (4) Pitch winners from the Pitch Phase will each create a 60 second Video with a 15 second Teaser based upon his/her winning Pitch.
NOTE: The 60 second Video and 15 second Teaser are both due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate Videos when uploading your submission.
All other creators are invited to enter a Wildcard (What Is a Wildcard?) submission that can be based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase or a totally original concept that is not based on any winning material from the Idea Phase. The Judges will score all Wildcard submissions and the highest scoring Wildcard Video along with the FOUR (4) winning Videos submitted by Pitch winners will be scored to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the FOUR (4) Pitch winners, along with the Wildcard winner will receive prizes.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will be determined by April 8th and earn the following prizes: 1st place $14,000 (and TWO (2) tickets to the premiere of Marvel's The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
