25 years ago, one movie made history.

Jurassic Park captured the imaginations of audiences around the world and transported them to a place where dinosaurs still roamed the earth. Now, we’re calling on fans everywhere to help relive the wonder of Jurassic Park by sharing your favorite memories of the movie. 

Submit your video for the chance to win epic prizes and have your video featured on JurassicWorld.com and Jurassic World social media!

If your video is chosen, it’ll be shared and experienced by legions of other Jurassic Park fans across Jurassic World social channels!

PRIZING: 

• TWENTY-FOUR (24)  winners will be awarded $250 and a Jurassic Park shirt.
• ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive $1000, a Jurassic Park shirt, a new Jurassic World prize package, and a surprise item.

IMPORTANT:

As any items appearing in the background of your video may be cause for disqualification, please:

• We recommend registering and logging in to your Tongal account before submitting your video. Leave yourself enough time to upload your video before the deadline.
• Keep your video clear of visible third-party toys and their logos, books, games, shoe logos, clothing and objects from franchises other than Jurassic Park.
• Try to use a blank wall or empty outdoor area for the background of your video.
• Do not include music in your submission.
• We are only looking for stories and memories about Jurassic Park, NOT Jurassic World.

 

DETAILS:

• When submitting your video, please upload a talent release for all on-screen talent. Please also upload a location release.
• You are welcome to include any kind of Jurassic Park item in your Video, but nothing is specifically required.
• Do not include franchises other than Jurassic Park in your video. 
• Do not include any third-party trademarked or copyrighted materials.
• Parents will need to create a Tongal account to submit entries for any minors, and must sign the Tongal Talent Release on behalf of any minor children appearing in the videos.                                        

ANSWERS TO YOUR FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

• Do not use music from the original soundtrack
• Do not use audio and visual elements from the original film. This includes the T. Rex roar or clips of video or dialogue. 
• Though there’s no max runtime, a good rule of thumb is to keep your Video under 2-3 minutes in length. 

The Jurassic Park 25th Anniversary Project is open for submissions from 09:00 am PT on January 5, 2018 to 11:59 pm PT on January 22, 2018. Participants must be thirteen years or older at the time of entry. No purchase necessary to enter or win. The goal of this project is to source TWENTY-FIVE (25) Jurassic Park relive videos.

PHASE 1: VIDEO - Please submit your Jurassic Park relive video! When submitting your video, please upload a talent release for all on-screen talent. Please also upload a location release.

--Video Phase Payout: TWENTY-FOUR (24)  winners will be awarded $250 and a Jurassic Park shirt. ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE WINNER will receive $1000, a Jurassic Park shirt, a new Jurassic World prize package, and a surprise item.

1. Preferred format for upload to the Tongal website is HD 720p 16x9. Acceptable file formats are .mov, .avi, .mp4, .wmv. Acceptable codecs are H.264 (MP4), MPEG-4, H.263, MPGV, WMV, DivX.

2. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

3. In the event you utilize any third party materials, such as music provided by a third-party music provider not provided by Tongal, you must obtain full written license and consent from the owner of such third party materials and provide such license and consent forms to Tongal.

 

4. BY SUBMITTING A VIDEO ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

5. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of sponsor.

6. Submissions must not portray sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with sponsor.

7. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

8. Limit 5 submissions per member.

9. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.

10. In addition to the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment, winning video creators MUST also provide Talent, Location, Music (or other) Releases for all assets appearing in their winning videos.
