PREVIOUS WORK CREATED BY THE NICK CREATOR COLLECTIVE:
Take a look at the links below to get a sense of the depth and breadth of the work that's already been created by members of the Nick Creator Collective. Just think - this could be YOU!
ABOUT NICKELODEON: Nickelodeon is a premiere children's cable TV channel that has created some of the most iconic kids' shows of all time, including classics like Rugrats, SpongeBob SquarePants, Hey Arnold!, All That, Fairly Oddparents, iCarly, and so many more. The Nick Collective will be focusing on social content primarily for the below brands underneath the overarching Nick umbrella:
NICKELODEON: Nickelodeon is expanding its focus far beyond the traditional cable TV channel. Treating Nickelodeon as a lifestyle brand – with content, products, experiences and more – is the core of Nick's future-forward plan. Video that embodies that distinct Nickelodeon feeling and connects with fans old and young can help drive that message.
NICK JR.: Nick Jr. is Nickelodeon’s preschool brand, targeting kids ages 2-7. In social, the brand speaks to parents. Some of the most popular shows are Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, Blue's Clues & You, and The Adventures of Paddington.
NICKREWIND: NickRewind is Nick’s place for all things nostalgia - covering all your favorite Nickelodeon shows from the 1980s to late 2010s.
TEENNICK: TeenNick is a standalone channel targeting 13-18-year-olds. Primary programming includes iCarly, Sam & Cat, Game Shakers, The Thundermans and more.
SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS: SpongeBob SquarePants is an animated series created by marine science educator and animator Stephen Hillenburg. The series chronicles the adventures and endeavors of SpongeBob and his aquatic friends in the fictional underwater city of Bikini Bottom. The fifth-longest-running American animated series, its popularity has made it a media franchise with over 100M social fans. It is the highest-rated series to air on Nickelodeon. The success of the series has also spawned shows such as Kamp Koral and The Patrick Show - all of which, along with the original Spongebob Squarepants series, make up the Spongebob Universe.
Can you create a meme faster than SpongeBob can flip Krabby Patties? What about making an Instagram video that even Helga Geraldine Pataki would double tap on? You know, content that might be about a certain boy with a football-shaped head....
If you're a savvy social content creator and a fan of all things Nickelodeon, you might be the perfect fit to join the existing "Nick Creator Collective" - a group of content creators working across different disciplines (graphic design, stop-motion animation, motion graphics/editing, and live-action) to create thumb-stopping social content for Nickelodeon's many social channels. This group was first formed back in March, and now we're looking to add even MORE amazing creators into the Collective to build on the success of the program! For a great overview of the FANTASTIC work that the Nick Creator Collective did this year, check out this sizzle video.
If selected, you'll be creating quick-turn social content for the Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., NickRewind, TeenNick, and SpongeBob SquarePants brands. The main platforms we'll be focusing on are Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and Snapchat (in priority order).
If chosen to join this talented group, you'll have access to a continuous stream of projects with countless opportunities of all shapes and sizes across multiple Nickelodeon properties. You can expect anywhere from $500 for graphic design artwork, to $2,000 for video content, and each creative ask will be associated with a reasonable budget and timeline reflecting the quick nature of the individual asks.
Here's how it'll work.
