How and what your workshop will include is pretty much entirely up to you, but if you're not sure how to break it out into a lesson plan, here's a sample guide and some previously created lesson plan resources:
What to include in a lesson plan: Exact lesson plans will be different depending on what and how you plan to teach in your workshop, but below are some elements we typically expect to see included:
Lesson Plan / Workshop Examples: The below links are an example of the lesson plan and videos that were created during for the first wave of the Branded Content Mentorship Program, which was focused around understanding and creating vertical videos.

ABOUT TONGAL: Tongal believes creativity drives human potential and that everyone has the potential to be creative. We empower Creators by connecting them to each other and to opportunities for top networks, studios, and brands, setting into motion a never-ending cycle of opportunity and growth.
If you've ever had a concept greenlit on Tongal, you know success comes from more than just catching the sponsor's attention or keeping your concept within the length of a tweet. You have to thoroughly digest the brief, process all the do's and don'ts of the Executional Mandatories; keep the intended audience in mind; make sure your concept is fresh and unique; and, oh yeah, remember to be creative and stand out. It's not easy, but it is a skill – and that means it's knowledge you can impart to other creative minds in the Tongal community who are eager to break into concepting.
We're looking for one Tongal community member with a proven track record for coming up with winning concepts for ads and branded content to lead a fun and educational workshop for the next generation of creative minds. The Share Your Skills: Crafting Effective Concepts for Branded Content project is a great opportunity to share your first-hand knowledge, experience, and tips with up-and-coming creators in the Tongal community.
Your workshop materials will comprise of a written workshop – broken out below – that will be freely accessible to any and all creators via Tongal on our Tutorials Hub. In addition, we'd love for you to make a video, or even an audio recording, talking us through your workshop points, which a Tongal editor can then turn into a video to help reach more future writers and creators. It's fine for you to shoot on your phone, record off your computer screen, or combine different formats, and we encourage you to be creative and have fun with your assets. Finally, don't worry about teaching creators how to submit on Tongal; that's our job. We're looking to you for a fun, informative, and educational workshop on the creative aspects and logistics of coming up with and crafting memorable and greenlight-able concepts.
There will be a light pre-production phase where you'll work directly with members of the Tongal team to develop the lesson plan and workshop breakdown, and go over any questions you have about translating your workshop to a video and/or audio recording. A Tongal editor will then cut your video/audio together into a cogent workshop video. For any additional questions, reach out in the Project Forum, and be sure to check out helpful resources in the Background section.
