Freddie W, Barely Political, Mystery Guitar Man, Anna Akana – chances are you know these names and the incredible videos these filmmakers produce, but they’re not the only filmmakers who are as charismatic on camera as they are talented behind the lens.  We’re looking for the next great influencer, a filmmaker with a digital presence who maybe hasn’t hit 1MM or even 100K subs yet on YouTube but is looking to grow their subscribership, make more and better content, and work more closely with brands to create branded content and digital ads.

Tongal is looking to help develop and work with an influencer who meets all or some of the following criteria:

• YouTube or Facebook – 10,000+ subscribers/followers
• Not just a vlogger – we’re looking for someone with actual filmmaking chops
• We’re open to most content verticals, including action, comedy, automotive, animation, cooking, how-to/diy, toys and gaming, reviews, etc.

NOTE: While we’re looking for influencers and up-and-comers of all verticals, we’ve got an immediate interest in the following verticals and demographics:

• Horror influencers – Digital horror YouTubers, Viners, Snapchatters, etc; 
• On-screen talent – Why are their vlogs the best? Are they talented actors?
• Hispanic influencers and/or Spanish-language audiences 
• Female influencers and/or strongly female audiences
• Strong horror audiences

The goal of this project is to help find the next big up-and-coming influencer filmmaker who’s got the personality and the chops to run branded content and create digital ads. Whether that’s you, your best friend, or a channel YouTube’s suggested videos algorithm recently surfaced for you, we want to hear more.

You must submit your referral by noon PST on Thursday, August 18th. If we end up using an influencer you referred on a project by November 18th, you stand to earn $1,000. Yup, that’s $1,000 just for knowing the right people and we may award more than one submission.

In order to be considered your submission must provide the following information: 

• Name of Influencer
• 500 characters or less summary of who this person is and why qualify for this referral project
• Links to pertinent channels
• Number of followers
• Number of posts per week
• Contact info for influencer

 

Anyone who refers an influencer we end up working with or selecting as part of this referral project by noon PST on August 18, 2016 stands to earn $1,000. Be sure to read the following information.

• Country of Influencer
• Links to pertinent channels
• Number of followers
• Number of posts per week

Referrals are only paid out for Influencers we end up working with sourced from this project before November 18, 2016.
