Customers everywhere are becoming more accustomed to getting help from intelligent interfaces -- a Chat Bot or similar, to help them get answers and service when they’re shopping online, getting help for something they’ve already bought, or even when they’re in-store. The new Home Depot Chat Bot will help customers get answers, or help them make progress and turn them over to a Home Depot employee as soon as help is available.
Note: We will conduct Community Voting on the Concepts. You are eligible to vote on Concepts immediately after your first submission or after the submission phase ends. After your submission(s), the confirmation dialog will include a link to the voting page. You may submit up to five times. Here is the voting link for Community Voting. Community Voting ends Thursday 8/31 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
Home Depot wants simple, memorable, and descriptive two-word names (we’ll give you 50 characters!) for their Chat Bot.
We’ll give you another 140 characters, if you like, to either:
1). Describe why your name is perfect.
2). Describe a personality, image, or character for the name you create.
If you want to attach a drawing or image to your submission, you can do that too.
This is what Home Depot wants you to know and be thinking about when you’re coming up with your names...and any personality, character, or images you want to share.
Keep these details in mind about the "Bot" you’re naming:
User Adoption Notes
Your name is part of an overall design to promote a convenient, automated, and intelligent problem-solving capability -- and help customers to acclimate-to, and readily use that option.
If your name can provide some description, a reminder, and/or a convenient handle for the variety of services this Bot will provide -- you may be one of our winners.
Your name should minimize any friction for customer uptake. You definitely don’t want customers to get lost (or even concerned) because of your Bot name!
Name Specifics:
The name should be two words maximum. No exceptions, sorry!
Your name should relate to the functionalities the Bot provides.
Your name should be inviting and familiar and should sit well within Home Depot’s customer-centric, friendly environment.
Remember your name has to work across a variety of venues; in store, on the web, in emails...make sure your name is not anchored in only one of these.
Note: We will conduct Community Voting on the Concepts. You are eligible to vote on Concepts immediately after your first submission or after the submission phase ends. After your submission(s), the confirmation dialog will include a link to the voting page. You may submit up to five times.
