The Harry Potter 20th Anniversary - Return To Hogwarts special event reunites former child stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint  with fellow cast members including Robbie Coltrane, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Isaacs, Gary Oldman and Ralph Fiennes.

On Sunday, April 10, the Harry Potter cast reunion, Harry Potter 20th Anniversary - Return To Hogwarts will come to TBS, and we're looking for talented graphic designers or artists to help celebrate this epic event with cool, original posters. If you've got a fun take on your favorite character, Hogwarts house, or horcrux, now's your chance to let your inner witch or wizard shine. 

Your posters can be mixed media, collages, pen-and-ink, CG, Ben-Day, illuminated manuscript, or anything in between; any of the main Harry Potter movie series cast, characters, settings, plots, props, or tropes are fair game for your inspiration, we just ask that you include the Harry Potter and TBS logos. Both logos are in the zip folder in the  Assets tab, along with some movie stills for inspiration (you do not need to base your posters on these shots!).

TBS is looking for three different digital posters, but they're open to one creator doing more than one, as long as each poster is very distinct. If you'd like to submit for multiple posters, we'd recommend submitting multiple submissions, each with a different approach

TONE: Fun, festive, engaging, and magical.

 

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES: 

• Your art MUST be based on and in celebration of the Harry Potter cast reunion.
• While we encourage you to really get imaginative and creative, your artwork should remain faithful to the Harry Potter books and films.
• You do not need to include messaging around the reunion in your artwork; your posters should celebrate the characters, the stories, and the nostalgia now inherent in the franchise. 
• Pretty much anything in the Harry Potter universe is game, although there are a few images we'd like you to avoid: 
  • Avoid the flying Ford Anglia
  • Avoid showing the Hogwarts Express at Kings Cross Station (inside the train is fine)
  • Avoid beer/alcohol, although Butterbeer is fine 
• While each artwork must promote the cast reunion, how you execute your art is up to you. We encourage you to propose a variety of mediums and styles in your pitch. 
• All final artwork must incorporate the Harry Potter logo and TBS logo, available in the Assets tab. Do not edit or make changes to the movie or network logos.

By participating in this project, creators acknowledge that the Sponsor is under no obligation to greenlight a pitch. Though most projects on our platform do move forward with a greenlit pitch, we will notify you in the event the Sponsor decides not to fund any pitches via the project forum. Regardless of the result, all pitch submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the project team.

In order to be considered for this project, you must include the below materials in your pitch submission. For examples of effective pitches, check out this gallery.

• TEXT (REQUIRED): 500 or fewer characters synopsizing how you plan to approach and execute this art.
  
  
• PROOF OF CONCEPT ART (REQUIRED): Sample art and/or rough designs illustrating how you'd bring your poster to life. Think about what format(s) and medium(s) you'll work in, how you'd execute each artwork, and include any references that will help the Sponsor envision what you intend to create.
  
  
• LINKS (REQUIRED): To your previous art/design/poster work. Please specify your role, if applicable, and DO NOT INCLUDE LINKS TO YOUR SHOWREEL. Please link to individual pieces of work.

1. Preferred format for upload to the Tongal website is 4x5 and 9x16. Acceptable file formats are .png, jpg.
   
   
2. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.
   
   
3. In the event you utilize any third-party materials, such as music provided by a third-party music provider not provided by Tongal, you must obtain full written license and consent from the owner of such third-party materials and provide such license and consent forms to Tongal.
   
   
4. BY SUBMITTING A DESIGN/ART ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR ART/VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.
   
   
5. You may not contact any employees or members of the Sponsor’s organization, their affiliates, or any of their partners. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in disqualification of your entry in the project.
   
   
6. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.
   
   
7. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.
    
8. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.
    
9. Artwork must be in the English language or subtitled.
    
10. Limit 5 submissions per member, per Phase.
     
11. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or older to enter.
    
    
12. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest.
    
    
13. In addition to the judging criteria stated in the OFFICIAL RULES, Pitches will also be evaluated on that member's ability to execute the final Artwork based on their prior work and experience as an artist, designer, animator, or other creative role.
    
    
14. The Sponsor will be entitled to reasonable revisions on the finished Artworks without providing additional compensation. Remember it's easier to re-edit than re-shoot/redesign so try to get as much coverage as possible.
    
    
15. In addition to the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment, greenlit creators MUST also provide Talent, Location, Music (or other) Releases for all assets appearing in their submissions, as applicable, as well as a photograph/headshot OR copy of a photo ID for all On-camera Talent releases. You must also provide all project files, editing sequences and a 1080p .mov master file, using a ProRes, Animation, or Uncompressed Codec to claim your earnings, as applicable.
