Imagine a world where you can make your dreams a reality. What would you do if you had the financial support that would allow you to reach your goals?
Crédito Real wants to change the way people view credit. Their current campaign “Go Beyond Your Limits” ("Rebasa Tus Limites") aims to highlight the amazing things one can accomplish with a little help.
Crédito Real believes we can ALL dream big and are capable of making those dreams come true. They want your inspirational, fun, energetic, and extremely shareable videos to help spread the word that anything is possible, and credit can be a GREAT resource! This should be the kind of video you have to send to your friends and family with a “HAVE YOU SEEN THIS?” or “I KNOW YOU’LL LOVE THIS”
Emphasize the positive ways in which credit allows people to go beyond their limitations to achieve their aspirations, materialize their ideas, and enjoy all the beautiful things life has to offer!
***This project is for Mexico and Latin America. Be culturally conscious when coming up with Ideas, Pitches and Videos***
Things you need to know:
*** SPONSOR NOTES FOR VIDEO SUBMISSIONS***
The Sponsor does not want the Video to be a typical commercial that focuses on selling a brand or product. They are looking for a narrative “inspirational/aspir ational” Video that helps audiences connect with the notion that credit is good and gives you the freedom to reach goals faster. The focus should not be to sell Crédito Real, but rather to highlight credit in a positive light and as a good resource to help you attain or achieve something. Think “Like a Girl” Always campaign, or "Kiss for Peace" Axe commercial.
The goal of this project is to generate a positive view of credit through a 60-second shareable Video with 15-second cut-down, a 30-second behind-the-scenes Video, four (4) Still Images and two (2) GIFs.
*** THE VIDEOS NEED TO BE IN SPANISH WITH NEUTRAL SPANISH ACCENT***
NOTE: The 60-second Video, 15-second cut-down, behind-the-scenes Video, (4) Still Images and (2) GIFs are all due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
Behind-the-Scenes Video: Video, up to 30 seconds in length, that showcases a brief interview with the director about what he likes about this project and the making of the video. Showcase b-roll shots of the production of the video. If the interview is in English, it will need to be dubbed or subtitled in Spanish.
--Key Marketing Messages: “Rebasa Tus Limites”: Go Beyond Your Limits
--Target Audience: Average men and women interested in the opinions of the general public. These are people who have aspirational goals that are attainable with some financial support

--Tone:
--Exposure: Videos will be used in digital and social media channels
-- Campaign Videos (FOR REFERENCE ONLY): In the Asset tab you will find two MP4 files titled "campaña2014" and "campaña2015". These are videos the Sponsor has used to promote their brand.
Remember that for this specific project, Crédito Real is looking to change the negative perception of credit to a positive one. They are NOT looking to sell their product or service offerings
This Project will be worth a total of $65,000 and consists of 3 Phases: an Idea Phase, a Pitch Phase, and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: IDEA – Tell us your Idea for a 60-second Video in 140 characters or less. Remember, an Idea (What is an Idea Phase?) is not a detailed script; it is a spark of inspiration, or a distillation of what will happen in the Video. As always, Ideas should be clever and engaging.
The winning Idea creators will receive $250 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for any winning Video based on their Idea. (That means if your winning Idea is the basis for the 1st place Video, you will receive $950, the 2nd place Video $600, the 3rd place Video $500, 4th place Video $400) – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a Video based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The three (3) most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $5,000 to help create the Video. Additionally, upon submitting a Video that satisfies the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submission, you will win an additional $8,000, at a minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $19,000 First Place video prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out The Indie Machines winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The three (3) winners from the Pitch Phase will each create a 60-second Video based upon their winning Pitch.
NOTE: The 60-second Video, 15-second cut-downs, behind-the-scenes Video, (4) Still Images and (2) GIFs are all due at the close of the Video Phase. Please upload them as separate videos when submitting your Videos.
All other creators are invited to enter a Wildcard (What Is a Wildcard?) submission that can be based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase or a totally original concept that is not based on any winning material from the Idea Phase. The Judges will score all Wildcard submissions and the one (1) highest scoring Wildcard Video along with the three (3) winning Videos submitted by Pitch winners will be scored to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the three (3) Pitch winners, along with one (1) Wildcard creator, will receive prizes.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $19,000, 2nd place $12,000, 3rd place $10,000, 4th place $8,000(less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winner, as applicable).
