Tap into your inner 5-year-old, and imagine the fantastical world of Galactic Garage, a wacky galaxy of adventure, learning, and fun. An intergalactic AAA, if you will, Little Red & his friends are a team of sentient vehicles that provide assistance to the whole universe, which can lead to adventures with space bears, planets made of candy, and a super powered ramp that launches them anywhere they need to go! It’s a crazy cosmos out there, and I bet you’re wondering, “What the heck does all this look like?” We are wondering the same thing.
This time around, we need you Tongalers to give us our first look at this imagined world of Galactic Garage!
We’ve provided an abbreviated bible in the Assets tab below with everything you need to know to pitch. Three Pitch Winners will be provided with the full Story Bible which contains additional information you’ll need to complete the design deliverables.
Important things to keep in mind for designing:
So how about it, Tongalers? Are you seeing visions of our four-wheeled friends already? Well then break out the pen and paper, and show us your best designs for Galactic Garage!
The final goal of this project is to develop an Art Book for the entire main cast of Galactic Garage as well as background imagery for important locations. We want these designs to delight audiences ages 4-6, to be toyetic, to be retro in feel (but also open to other styles!), and to be informed by our Story Bible (see this link for abbreviated version). In this document, you will find information on locations, characters, and details about how this crazy world works. All of this will help inform great design and make sure that visuals and story come together seamlessly.
