Background

Here are some review quotes from real H&R Block customers from last year:

Objectives

Please note this project must film in the US.

Many firsts are exciting, and why shouldn't your first time filing taxes be one of them? Okay, okay – we know no one loves taxes, but that doesn't mean you can't feel good about the filing process. But first, you need to know just a little bit about what that entails.

H&R Block has been a lead tax prep company since they were founded by the Bloch brothers in 1955, but younger taxpayers don't really know much about the benefits of prepping their taxes with H&R Block. So the goal of this project is to show younger taxpayers how easy it can be to do your taxes with H&R Block, even if it's your first time. To do this, you'll film testimonials from two different types of first-time filers: someone who filed on their own, and someone who worked with an H&R Block Tax Pro, either in-person or online.

Your first-time filer talent must have actually filed their taxes with H&R Block last year; they must be real H&R Block clients. H&R Block can help find these folks for you, but we'd also encourage you to source local talent options yourself. We're looking for relatable Gen Z filers who can speak candidly about their first filing experience and ultimately depart the message that you can File the way you want with H&R Block; no matter how you file, you'll get your maximum refund. And while these videos should be clear and informative, we also want them to be snappy and memorable; please elaborate on your creative approach in your pitch.
