Background

The @TongalTeam Social Crew is an initiative designed to showcase the work of our global creative community, while making cool sh*t for the Tongal Instagram channel. The goal here is to feature content “by creators, for creators,”, so potential Crew members should consider the kind of posts they’d most like to see on the channel - and how their skillset can contribute to the conversation - when pitching.

We are looking for both stand-alone content and recurring content frameworks when pitching. We are completely open to seeing what you can uniquely bring to the table, but here are some references and content formats to get your wheels turning:

Objectives

Tongal is looking to expand its social content with creators who are passionate about Creator/Filmmaker News and Media/Tech Tutorials & Overviews. We’re assembling a team to create engaging, insightful, and shareable content for our social channels through September 2025.

If you're an internet-savvy creator, filmmaker, animator, illustrator, or media expert with a knack for breaking down industry trends, tech tools, or creative workflows; we want you! Whether it’s a must-know update for indie filmmakers, a "Gear Packing Tutorial," or a deep dive into media history, we’re looking for fun, informative, and visually compelling content that other creators will love (and share!).

As part of Tongal’s @TongalTeam Social Crew, you'll not only help build our content presence but also gain exposure and grow your own audience, with full credit on every post. Plus, we’re rolling out new Tongal-branded Canva templates to help you craft polished, professional visuals.

Sound like your kind of project? Apply now and help us shape the future of Tongal’s social presence!

HOW WILL IT WORK? By joining Tongal’s Social Crew, you’re signing up to create content for Tongal’s Instagram channel on an ongoing basis over the next 3 months (through the end of September 2025). Selected creators will have direct access to bounce new ideas off our internal team, whether they be for stand-alone posts, series, or Instagram Stories, and we're excited to see where you want to take things. Additionally, Tongal may have an idea for a post or series which we put out to the Crew to see who is willing and able to execute on the idea.

DELIVERABLES: There will be 12 total stand-alone Instagram posts (four per month), adhering to the following formats:

EXPOSURE:

TARGET AUDIENCE: Entertainment-lovers, Tongal clients, Tongalers, and filmmakers, editors, writers, and animators in general

TONE: Fun, relatable, inspiring, supportive, inclusive
