Background

The TV market…it’s a bit black box *crash cymbals* (pause for laugh). Seriously though, between the luminescence, nits, and quantum dots jargon and the LED, OLED LCD, 4K, HDR, acronyms, you’d either need to have a degree in electrical engineering or be a CNET reviewer to understand what’s going on.

And in the back of your mind, the rational you is asking: Do I really need that many pixels? Is it really worth $3,000? Isn’t this all going to obsolete in 18-months anyway?

That’s why our mystery sponsor is looking to break through the noise of tech specs and product features by creating a Facebook campaign that connects with people in an authentic and relatable way focusing on a more holistic TV viewing experience.

Your concepts should take the following into consideration:

In your submission, also make sure to explain how your concept could be executed.

Objectives

The goal of this project is to come up with a campaign concept that highlights the value of a truly awesome TV viewing experience.

When formulating your concept, remember this is going to live on Facebook / Instagram. So think about the types of videos / images / articles in your Facebook and Instagram feed. What would grab your attention? What kinds of things do people engage with on those platforms?

Remember our target really cares about these specific areas of focus: entertainment, sports and gaming, so think about how your campaign concept could live across all three areas and be adapted to each.
