Background

This summer, Tongal is once again hosting a virtual Creative Camp for all our community members and everyone is invited to join in on the fun! Each week between now and early August, we’re launching a 6-part series of ‘just-for-fun’ projects designed to fire up your imagination, push your creative boundaries, and build camaraderie between you and your fellow Tongal creators.

Objectives

The history of entertainment is chock-full of interesting stories, people, and events, some of which have faded into obscurity. The goal of this project is to uncover little-known facts or unsung pioneers that have shaped the industry as we know it. Anything goes, as long as it has a clear connection to the entertainment industry at large (music, TV, film, etc.). So impress us with your knowledge and tell us something we didn’t know that will forever burn brightly in our brains.

EXPOSURE: Tongal’s social media channels

TARGET AUDIENCE: Creators and artists in general, and the Tongal community of filmmakers, writers, editors, and animators

TONE: Serious or comedic, we’re open to all tones as long as your story is engaging
