Background

Exciting news, Tongalers! Depot, a German furniture and home goods store (think the German version of Pier 1 Imports or Crate&Barrel), needs YOUR help to develop a super-creative concept for their next Christmas TV campaign.

From indoor to garden, gifts to decor, Depot stocks the best and brightest products for your home. Check out their website and take an early look at what they’ve got cooking for Christmastime in their print ads in the Assets tab. Then, give us your biggest, most creative campaign Concept to tell the (German-speaking) world that Depot should be their first stop as they gear up for the holidays.

Objectives

In 250 characters or less, tell us your Concept for the Depot Christmas TV campaign. Your Concept should fit the format of 15-30 second TV spots, and most importantly, tell women ages 29-55 that Depot is the ultimate destination for furniture, décor, gifts and home accessories during the Christmas season.

**Please Note: This is not a Pitch! Depot is looking for Concepts ONLY.**

You can call out specific Depot products, or keep your Concept more open-ended. Keep in mind that Depot will start to have more Christmas product available closer to November. (Think advent wreaths, ornaments, even an artificial fireplace!)

--Key Marketing Messages:

--Target Audience: Professional women ages 29-55.

--Tone: Your Concept for the Christmas TV Campaign should be bright, joyful and filled with the holiday spirit! Depot as a brand is creative, natural/real, homey, warm, easy going,  a little funny, and even a little daring. DEPOT personified would be your stylish best friend, who’s in-the-know and has fabulous taste, NOT an interior decorator, style counselor or older/wiser person (e.g. mother) giving advice.
