For the past several weeks, Tongal has been hosting a virtual Creative Camp for all our community members and everyone is invited to join in on the fun! Each of our 6 Creative Camp-themed projects are designed to fire up your imagination, push your creative boundaries, and build life-long friendships between you and your fellow campers.

What You Need To Know

• Each week during Creative Camp, on Thursday at 12 noon PT, we’ll launch a new challenge
• Each challenge will remain open for submissions until the final day of Camp on July 31, at noon PT
• Once received and vetted as eligible, each submission will be made viewable on Tongal where Tongal Community members can see and give feedback on your creation
• You are highly encouraged to participate in ALL challenges (and if you do, you’ll be eligible for special prizes!), although you’re also perfectly welcome to only participate in the challenges that most interest you
• Because paying import fees suck, soft prizes may be substituted with prizes of the same approximate retail value (“ARV”) for non-US prize-winners 
• By submitting, you are granting Tongal permission to share your work across our channels, however you will retain the rights to your submission. Please do not upload your submission anywhere else until winners have been announced and this Project has closed. Thank you!
  
  

Awards

• ONE DEAR DIARY PROJECT WINNER will receive $50 + a special edition Tongal Creative Camp T-Shirt + you get to promote anything you want (within reason) in an upcoming Community Newsletter (ARV $75)
• FOUR DEAR DIARY PROJECT RUNNER-UPS will each receive a Tongal care package containing swag, camp goodies and a handwritten letter from “Mom” (ARV $25)
• CREATIVE CAMP GRAND PRIZE: EVERYONE WHO SUBMITS an eligible submission to ALL SIX Creative Camp Projects will be considered for an additional prize of $500, which Tongal will award to the person who submitted the overall best body of work in light of the six projects' objectives and the judging criteria.

The goal of this project is to tell a true (or “true”) story from your years growing up in a Script for a :60 video. We all have experiences from our childhood that helped shape us into the person we are today and how we think about the world. Pick one moment in your life to dramatize in a Script. Change names to protect the innocent if you need to, but your Script should feel authentic and capture that raw feeling of learning to make your way in the world as a child or adolescent. 

Creators from all backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to participate. Never written a script before? Now’s a fine time to learn!

--Exposure: Tongal website and social channels. Winning Scripts may be developed into a video in a future project.

This Project consists of a Script Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.

PHASE 1: SCRIPT – Give us your Script for a 60-second video about a formative moment. We recommend uploading your Script in one of the following file formats: PDF, Word or text file.

The FIVE most compelling Scripts will be selected as winners and receive the designated awards outlined above.

1. Unless provided otherwise, all work must be your own original creation and free of any copyrighted material. You shall provide detailed information of your work regarding the source, the creator and background information as requested by Tongal.

2. BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, YOUR SUBMISSION IMMEDIATELY BECOMES THE SOLE PROPERTY OF TONGAL OR ITS ASSIGNEES – SEE OFFICIAL RULES FOR MORE DETAILS ABOUT OWNERSHIP OF ENTRIES. YOU MAY NOT PUBLICLY SHARE OR PUBLISH YOUR SUBMISSION IN ANY MANNER AND YOU MAY NOT POST OR UPLOAD YOUR SUBMISSION TO ANY WEBSITE OR VIDEO HOSTING SITE (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FACEBOOK, YOUTUBE OR VIMEO), WITHOUT THE PRIOR EXPRESS WRITTEN CONSENT OF TONGAL. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS REQUIREMENT MAY RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION OF YOUR ENTRY IN THE PROJECT.

3. Submissions cannot contain any profanity, offensive language, nudity or otherwise objectionable material, the determination of which is solely at the discretion of Sponsor.

4. Submissions must not portray Sponsor in a negative way, the determination of which will solely reside with Sponsor.

5. By submitting to this project, you acknowledge that your work may become subject to public voting on the Tongal site. Public voting may be used to help the project sponsor determine the final rank order.

7. Limit 5 submissions per person.

7. Open worldwide, but prizes for international winners may be substituted for another prize of the same ARV.

8. You must be at least thirteen (13) years or old. 

9. The Sponsor reserves the right to repost the contest at their discretion.

10. Winners must submit the standard Tongal W-9, Winner Affidavit, and IP Assignment.
