We don't know what the holidays are going to be like this year, but we know they're going to come with unique challenges, so it's tough for many of us not to feel a little anxious as the year comes to a close. Still, 2020 has also shown us countless examples of people and communities coming together to support each other and our common goals, driven by the ingenuity and hopeful exuberance of the human spirit. PayPal plays a unique role at the foundation of this support, enabling people to send money securely, person to person, or make donations to any number of the charities and causes they support.

This holiday season, PayPal is looking for individual video concepts with intimate and inspirational stories about people using either person-to-person payments or donations to support each other or common cause. They'll be using the tagline, "Let's make it one to remember."

The basic idea is that each :30 video will tell a quick story where someone A) takes notice of a someone or something they want to support, B) uses PayPal's person-to-person or donate function to contribute, and C) we see the results (or the satisfaction). Ask yourself, why would an individual or family need a little help this holiday season, and who might they get it from? Why would friends or family send money to each other? How could you cleverly show someone seeing a cause, and rallying to take action on it? What inspires someone to use their money for good?

This is a wide open ask, and we're looking for something unique, original, and relatable. We're trying to avoid anything inherently political or controversial though, and it should feel modern and relevant. No need for true stories - be creative.

Tell us your Concept in 250 characters or less. Remember, a Concept is not a detailed script — it is a spark of inspiration or a distillation of what will happen in the videos. As always, Concepts should be emotional, clever, and engaging.
