Making good nutrition choices is a daily battle for millions of people who are struggling to control their blood sugar levels. The simple sugars that can spike blood sugar levels – carbohydrates – are in so many common foods that almost every single dietary choice has real consequences on their levels. Knowing what to do and making an effort definitely helps, but the world doesn’t make it easy, and life has a habit of getting in the way. From fast food restaurants on the side of the highway to donuts in the breakroom, the temptations are everywhere, every day. Breakfast. Lunch. Dinner... and everything in between. Plus, when someone does put down the cookie, so to speak, and they make a healthier selection, there’s no immediate reward...
The Mystery Sponsor is wondering, what if there was some kind of celebration, or recognition of that moment?
They’ve got a meal and snack replacement shake that’s designed to address this very problem, so we’re looking for Concepts that revolve around those very real and relatable everyday moments when someone’s faced with a temptation but decides to choose the Shake instead of something unhealthy, and we want to "celebrate the little victories" with that person in clever and creative ways. Those ways can be big or small, humorous, ironic, off-the-wall, or even a little over-the-top - but the audience is broad, so you’ll want to make sure that your Concepts have broad appeal.
Check out more guidance below...
Give us your clever and creative 250 Character Concept for a 15-second Video revolving around a moment of food temptation and the celebration of a "little victory" that people have when they choose a better option instead of eating something unhealthy. Your Concepts should be light-hearted, while still relatable, empathetic, and engaging, and humor can be an important ingredient. Think different, think smart, do something unique and feel free to submit Concepts that are run the range of approaches, as long as you capture that element of "celebrating the little victories."
Note that the shake’s role as a meal or snack replacement is key. The notion of a victory MUST be linked to making a better choice by drinking the product, and it should be about celebrating the decision to replace an unhealthy food option.
--What to avoid:
Additionally, avoid situations that might involve groups of people in a way that suggests that the lead character is being judged. We don’t want to judge - we want to celebrate.
--Brand Identity: The brand is empathetic, knowledgeable, and dedicated – like a friend who’s always been there to reassure you and give you realistic and common sense advice, without ever passing judgment.
--Target Audience: A broad range of motivated people on a diabetes & prediabetes journey who may have been struggling to manage their condition, but who are engaging with renewed resolve, and seeking out ways to make better decisions.
This Project will be worth a total of $3,000 and consists of 1 of Phase: a Concept Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
