In 2016, Tongal partnered with a major car company to create 20 videos that capture the most exciting and treasured traditions of college athletics. The content went live via Facebook and collegiate websites/channels, driving engagement and awareness. Now, Tongal wants to tell the story, showcasing the incredible footage itself, and the results that followed by having you produce an awesome Case Study Video.
Read on to the Project Objectives for more info on the assets and deliverables.
The Pitch Winner will receive a script, key visuals and access to all of the footage from the final 20 videos. Additionally, we have a sample reel to give you a sense of the project. You will create one 1:30 - 2:00 minute Case Study Video that presents the footage, newly created graphics, and voice-over in a visually compelling, entertaining way.
A note on budget: This project will operate differently than most Tongal projects. Instead of us dictating your budget, we’re looking for you to submit your bid letting us know the amount you need in order to execute this Case Study Video.
We are asking Tongalers to provide a reasonable budget as part of your pitch that you feel will allow you to successfully execute the Case Study Video. The most attractive overall pitch (budget + quality of prior work + pitch) will win.
The Pitch winner will enter into a Production Services Agreement with Tongal that will define the scope of work and utilize the budget specified in the winning bid.
This Project will be worth the budget submitted in the winning bid and consists of two Phases: a Pitch Phase and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing Tongal why you should be selected to execute a Video based on this challenge brief using:
PHASE 2: VIDEO – Once the Pitch Winner is selected, Tongal will draft a Production Services Agreement to define the scope of work and provide key visual assets and a script for the video. Upon winning the Pitch Phase, a portion of the approved budget will be released to start work. Once the final approved Case Study Video is delivered, the remaining budget amount will be paid.
