ABOUT CARO HOME - Caro Home provides the best in lifestyle home products. Inspired by her love for her family and a passion for modern design, award-winning Carolina Feinstein launched her brand in 2012. Caro Home is certified as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) through the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation's largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US.

Caro Home is based out of Stamford, Connecticut where production will take place. Please do not contact Carolina Feinstein as part of your Pitch.

Objectives

***Please Note that only U.S. Residents are eligible to submit for this project.***

The goal of this project is to create a 2-3 minute video following Carolina Feinstein and her business, Caro Home. Carolina is a first-generation Argentinian American who started her textiles company in 2012 with a mission to bring the best home products to consumers.

In telling Caro Home's business story, we're looking to put Carolina Feinstein and her entrepreneurial journey at the forefront and position Bank of America as a supporting role in the narrative. This will involve filming both an engaging on-camera video interview and b-roll footage that showcases both her business and her personal life. Bank of America wants this to feel cinematic and elevated, and they're looking for that perfect blend between polished commercial images and traditional documentary coverage. To that end, they are open to creative visual approaches that lean into the bright colors and bold patterns inherent in Caro Home's products. By the end of the video, audiences should feel inspired by Carolina's journey, while also understanding some of the services Bank of America has provided along the way.

You should familiarize yourself with Bank of America's Center for Business Empowerment site to understand broadly the types of resources and insights that Bank of America provides to entrepreneurs to help their business prosper and grow.

Since this video will be used as part of Bank of America's Hispanic Heritage Month campaign, this project has deliverables in both English and Spanish. You should expect to interview Carolina, who is a native Spanish speaker, in both English and Spanish, and you should plan on having a full day for filming both the English language and the Spanish language interviews. We expect that, if you don't speak Spanish yourself, you'll have a Spanish translator who will both be on set and also review all cuts of Spanish-language deliverables during post-production. While on set, the translator must be able to act as point on continuity. This might involve reviewing playback on set and taking notes to ensure consistency between answers in English and Spanish. It is highly recommended that the editing team have familiarity with Spanish as well. We'd also recommend that you either edit yourself or have a robust editing team that can handle quick turnarounds with all or most deliverables being flipped simultaneously.

During the process of interviewing Carolina, you'll also need to interview two Bank of America executives. These executives will serve as the Bank's representatives, and speak in further detail about Bank of America's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and helping small business owners grow and realize their dreams. The executives you will need to interview are Bank of America's President of Business Banking (in both English and Spanish) and a Senior Vice President & Senior Relationship Manager (in English only). You'll be required to have a two-camera set-up for the on-camera interviews.

Given the availability of the subjects, here's how we see the three shoot days playing out:

During the pitch process, shortlisted filmmakers will be interviewed by the Tongal team about their creative process, interview style, and post-production capacities. These interviews will take place on Tuesday, June 18th and Thursday, June 20th. Filmmakers will be notified if they made it to the interview round on Monday, June 17th.
