Until this point, no single person has been in charge of Creative Camp. Tongalers have been allowed to run roughshod all over the dang place! The Mess Hall is a total mess. Every surface in the Arts 'n Crafts room is covered in macaroni and feathers. The older Tongalers have been staying up all hours of the night, sneaking into each other's bunks and pulling pranks. BUT NO MORE!
We're seeking candidates for the virtual position of Camp Director who will bring order and FUN back to camp. A natural leader who possesses a multitude of skills and traits that'll bring us together and ensure everyone has the best summer ever. Are you up for the job?
If you don't already know, this summer Tongal is hosting a virtual Creative Camp for all our community members and everyone is invited to join in on the fun! Each week between now and the end of July, we’re launching a new Creative Camp-themed project designed to fire up your imagination, push your creative boundaries, and build life-long friendships between you and your fellow campers.
Here are the projects we’ve got planned for you:
What You Need To Know
Awards
The goal of this project is to submit a 1-2 minute Pitch Video convincing your fellow Creative Campers that you are deserving of the (completely fictitious) position of Tongal Creative Camp Director. What qualities or past experience do you possess that would make you a great leader of camp? If chosen as Camp Director, what activities would you plan? Use all your powers of persuasion and editing to make your case.
This is a great opportunity to practice your pitch skills -- which comes in really handy for Tongal projects. Don't forget to read our How to Make a Great Pitch Video blog post to see some great examples of Pitch Videos before you start filming! Creators from all backgrounds and levels of experience are encouraged to participate. Shooting with anything from a smartphone to professional camera gear is A-OK by us.
--Target Audience: Just us Tongalers!
--Exposure: Tongal website and social channels
