Background

Dave Asprey is the creator of Bulletproof Coffee, founder of Bulletproof 360, three-time New York Times bestselling science author (The Bulletproof Diet, Head Strong, and Super Human) and host of the Webby-award winning podcast Bulletproof Radio. As one of the first pioneers of the Biohacking movement, he became known as the "Father of Biohacking" and has devoted his life to elevating human performance using the latest scientific research combined with ancient healing traditions. You’ll find Dave on stages around the world sharing the latest discoveries to help top performers break through mental and physical barriers to accomplish the unimaginable.

If you are selected by the Sponsor for the final edit, you may be given additional assets. In the event there are limited assets to work with, we ask that you lean into your capabilities as an editor to create motion texts and graphics.

REFERENCE VIDEOS FOR INSPIRATION OR TONE:

Objectives

Hi Everyone, the Sponsor has decided not to move forward with a Bid on this project. Though most Open Bid Projects do move forward with a selected Bid, we will always notify you in the event the Sponsor has decided not to move forward. Please note that regardless of the results, all submissions are reviewed and evaluated by the Sponsor and the Project Team. We sincerely appreciate your time and effort on this project.

Your goal is to edit together 5-10 minute YouTube videos using video and audio assets from the full episodes of the Bulletproof Radio podcast. The videos should be designed to drive brand awareness and increase exposure for founder Dave Asprey by helping to grow Bulletproof's Youtube Channel, while at the same time promoting the actual Podcast itself. You can download all the assets you have to work with here, although you should note that some of the assets provided may contain text already. Part of the challenge will be to incorporate the text elements in your sample video, and part of it will be using motion graphics or simple 2D animation to make this feel engaging and dynamic.

This will involve some bulk editing of Dave Asprey's podcast, cutting footage from the video they capture into search optimized clips for YouTube, along the lines of clips you might see from recent episodes of Joe Rogan's show. These videos are usually around 5-10 minutes long, and they're meant to highlight key moments and draw the viewer in to watch the whole episode, or check out the podcast in general.

As part of the Pitch, Editors should cut one Sample Video using the provided assets: a :30-:60 second video for YouTube. Just be sure to use platform best practices for whatever format you choose.  It will help to become familiar with Dave Asprey (if you're not already a fan!), as well as his podcast & Bulletproof Media.

Bulletproof Media will greenlight one editor who will cut all 20 videos.
