Objectives

We live in a world driven by video content, and PayPal knows that when it comes to even the most basic questions, like "What is PayPal?" it can be easier to point people at a helpful explainer video than to ask them to read a few paragraphs of text. That's what brings us here, as the goal of this project is to help PayPal create a suite of 10 explainer videos for the Brazilian market, each covering a different topic that relates to PayPal's functionality and benefits for local consumers.

Luckily, the brand has seven existing explainer videos for the Mexican market that are being finalized right now, each roughly :30-:60 in length, and 7 of the videos you're being asked to create only really require translation & localization. That means new Portuguese scripts (originals will be provided in English and Spanish), along with a new VO record, on-screen text replacement, and new music. The video assets will be provided to you if you're greenlit, but you can review a work-in-progress version HERE. There are 3 additional videos that will need to be created from scratch, in the same style, based on additional topics that only relate to the Brazilian market. Ultimately all ten videos will also need to be reformatted for a 1x1 aspect ratio.

For your pitch, we're primarily interested in your Portuguese translation & copywriting ability, so we'd like you to include a translation of that one work-in-progress video, but we're also looking at your ability to find & direct good VO talent for confident and relatable reads, and how you'll handle workflow for the new videos. Tell us about your team, show any similar work you've done, and maybe share some examples music tracks that you feel might work well for explainer videos in Brazil.

There's additional information about the different topics, as well as other similar explainer videos, in the Background/Additional Details. Feel free to throw us your questions in the Forum.
