BizFilings needs your help to get entrepreneurs to incorporate their business on Bizfilings.com through a suite of three Videos.
Get people to act now and incorporate their business today with Bizfilings.
Check out Objectives for the specific topics each Video in the suite should focus on.
The goal of this project is to build awareness for BizFilings through impactful, clear and compelling Videos, and encourage people to get off the fence and incorporate their business with BizFilings. When viewers watch your Videos, they should think: I know incorporation is important, and I know that BizFilings is who I want to do it with. They are the right partner for something this important. Get creative and inject some personality into the Videos – they want to break through the clutter and be distinct – but remember that incorporating is a big deal, so the goal is to inspire trust, not humor.

--Who is Bizfilings?:
People like working with us. Think about the next door neighbor that comes over to help you fix your car. He's not the type that says "let me take over" and takes it away to work on — he shows you what he's doing under the hood, he makes sure you know what needs to happen next, and he's happy to walk you through it until it gets done. Think about Rocky, who was a normal guy with a mission, and he surrounded himself with the right people, he prepared, he trained, he went through a sequence, and people rooted for him because of it. Think about grilling: you could put a burger on the grill, but there's a lot of technique behind it (the temperature of the coals, how you add the mesquite, when you use foil) and there are steps that only the real grillmasters know. Note that we're not looking for car repair videos, Rocky videos, or grilling videos, so don't take us too literally — these examples are just to give you an idea of who we are.

--Key Marketing Messages:
--Target Audience: Entrepreneurs who know they should incorporate their businesses but haven’t yet.
--Executional Mandatories:
--Tone: Your Videos should be inspirational, but not in a hokey way – it’s not as much about dreaming as it is about doing. By “doing,” you prepare yourself for success and set yourself up for the future. Personality is good but BizFilings isn’t looking for comedy.
--Exposure: These Videos are intended for use on YouTube, Hulu, and on the brands’ website. Stills are intended for banner ads.
This Project will be worth a total of $50,000 and consists of 3 Phases: a Concept Phase, a Pitch Phase and a Video Phase. Be sure to read the following information carefully as well as the Official Rules.
PHASE 1: CONCEPT – Tell us your Concept for BizFilings in 500 characters or less. A Concept is an overarching theme that the Video or Videos could focus on. Select one of the three Video Topics from the drop down menu when submitting your Concept. The winning Concept creators will receive $500 each and a 5% one-time residual payment for any winning Videos based on their Concept. (That means if your winning Concept is the basis for the 1st place Video suite, you will receive $850, the 2nd place Video suite $575) – see Video Phase Payout details for more information.
PHASE 2: PITCH - Submit your Pitch (What is a Pitch Phase?) convincing the Sponsor why you should be selected to execute a suite of 3 Videos based on one of the winning Ideas from the previous Phase using:
The 2 most compelling Pitches will be selected and, upon submitting the Winner’s Affidavit and the IP Assignment, will each receive $10,000 to help create the Videos. Additionally, upon submitting Videos that satisfy the criteria laid out in your winning Pitch, the Pitch winners will also be GUARANTEED a winning place in the subsequent Video Phase. So, if your Pitch is selected and you execute your Pitch effectively in your Video submissions, you will win an additional $11,500, at a minimum, and have a chance to compete for the $17,000 First Place video prize (subject to deduction for one-time 5% residual payment to eligible Idea winners). For an example of an effective Pitch, check out The Indie Machines winning “3 Artists & 5,000 LEGOs” Pitch video. All Pitches will remain private until after the winner of the Video Phase is announced and the Project is complete.
PHASE 3: VIDEO – The 2 winners from the Pitch Phase will each create THREE 15-second Videos based upon their winning Pitch with 5 still images.
The Judges will score the 2 winning suites of Videos and Images submitted by Pitch winners to determine the standings for the Video Phase. Remember, the 2 Pitch winners will receive prizes.
--Video Phase Payout: Winners of the Video Phase will earn the following prizes: 1st place $17,000 and 2nd place $12,000 (less any 5% one-time residual payments paid to the Idea winners, as applicable).
--Music: Tongal has partnered with two premiere music providers: Audioblocks and Epidemic Sound. Either of which can be used to source music for your Video submission to this Project. Music from these providers is available to registered Tongal members at no charge solely for their incorporation into Submissions to this Project and will not require a separate Music Release Form. To learn more about using each of these music providers, click on any of the provider’s names above.
Tongal members interested in a custom music solution for your project are invited to connect with SCORE A SCORE. They specialize in the creation of custom music, on-demand.
Their business model is based on a "name your price" system, so you can tell them what your budget is, and they will work with you to create a deal configuration that will work within the discussed parameters. Check out the FAQ for more information and how to contact SCORE A SCORE.
If you are selected as a winner and choose to use custom/original music, you must fill out and submit our Music Release Form. If you obtain music from other catalog providers, you must purchase the appropriate license at your own expense and submit it with our Music Release Form when you turn in your Video paperwork.
--Referral: Any Tongal member who refers one of the winning Video creators in this Project using the Tongal “Invite Friends” functionality will receive a referral fee equal to 5% of the amount won. That’s a potential $1,000 in bonus cash just for telling all of your talented friends about this Project! Check out more about our Referral Program in FAQ.
