Tongal is looking for help managing key email communications and tracking incoming content for an influencer community and content creation program that we're running with a top-tier athleticwear company. We can't tell you which one just yet, but rest assured this is an exciting opportunity to work with a major brand. The role we're looking to fill is entirely remote, and functions as an independent contractor position that will support the Tongal team managing this brand, and a community of about 30 influencer/creators.

The rate is $400 per week with a maximum of 10 hours weekly, but if the program expands, there is the possibility that this role could expand alongside it. Working alongside Tongal, the Athleticwear Influencer Community Support Contractor will be responsible for handling communication with creators to ensure they experience best-in-class customer service and support in all stages of their engagement with the Tongal platform, and as they interact with each other as a community, using a dedicated channel on a TBD platform like WhatsApp or Discord. The ideal candidates will ensure that issues are quickly resolved with an empathic and helpful attitude.

There will be a 1-week training period where selected applicants will shadow current Tongal producers to learn how to operate the Tongal website, and how to manage whichever community platform we ultimately move forward with, while also understanding the project workflow, and learning to navigate through key client and creator communication touch points - all of which will be necessary to become an effective Athleticwear Influencer Community Support Contractor. The selected applicant will be paid for the training period.

• Project Open: December 28 - January 9
• Interviews With the Tongal Team: January 10 - 12
• Decision Announced: January 16
• Start Date: Week of January 22
• Training: January 22 - 26

EXECUTIONAL MANDATORIES: 

• MUST be a US resident
• MUST be available to work up to 10 hours a week
• MUST be available for at least 2 hours on weekdays within the timeframe of 9am PT - 6pm PT to aid in communication
• MUST be willing to work for $400 per week
• MUST have a minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in communications, community management, customer service and/or a related field
• MUST provide your own reliable computer and internet connection

The Tongal team will carefully consider each application submitted for the role of Athleticwear Influencer Community Support Contractor, however, we cannot guarantee the selection of one or more applicants as a result of this project and will retain the right to close the project at any time without making a definitive decision.

This project is to find independent contractors to assist with Tongal. Nothing in this project is intended or should be construed as potentially creating an employment position with Tongal.  The position described by this project is NOT an employment position. Please also note that you will not be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses.

1. Community Support Contractors will not be entitled to any of the benefits that Tongal may make available to its employees, including, but not limited to, group health or life insurance, profit-sharing or retirement benefits. Because Community Creative Producers are independent contractors, Tongal will not withhold or make payments for social security, make unemployment insurance or disability insurance contributions, or obtain workers’ compensation insurance.

5. Tongal reserves the right to repost the contest.

6. In addition to the judging criteria stated in the OFFICIAL RULES, Pitches will also be evaluated on that member's ability to fulfill the role based on past work experience.
